Hi Warlock experts,
Me, my husband, and our friend are link through the refer-a-friend scheme and looking forward to start a fast leveling team. I know, why start WOW just now? lol
Friend = Tank - Paladin
Husband = Healer - Priest
Me = DPS - Warlock
They are actually suggesting that I roll a mage but I have tried the lock and find it really interesting. I hope the experts can advise how we can maximize the lock's awesomeness within this team. Note: They are looking forward to do instances like deadmines, stocks, zf, etc.
TIA.

Hmm, I could be wrong because I don't often group while levelling, but I'd say your group would be better off using your VW to tank and have the Pally spec Ret for added DPS.

Lol no. Void walker's threat generation has been nerfed, so that's not going to happen. Have the paladin spec prot.
I must admit I haven't used mine much lately, but if VWs can't tank anymore, what can they do?
Are they nothing more than sac-shields in waiting?
Note: Can't believe I forgot this... Warlocks generally don't have much synergy with other classes, especially if you roll affliction. Fearing 3-5 mobs and doting them all up is all well and good, but imagine chasing after all of them as a paladin. Not fun.
Yeah, affliction 'locks don't play well with others.
One of their main levelling strategies (drain tanking) has them acting as DPS, tank and healer, all-in-one. Why would you need anyone else?
I had to completely change my play-style when I grouped with a fire mage for a while, it felt like being destro.
