I would like to talk about warrior tank survivability.
In my guild we run a Druid main, Pally and warrior off tanks. I am finding it pretty frequent that my survivability during encounters that split damage out evenly is not as good as either the druid or pally tanks. For example a very traditional trash pull in Blackrock decent where the 2 adds right before Magmaw are tanked. Each tank is taking similar damage and getting healed the same amount but for some reason my warrior always seems to die first and easiest and after CD's are used, both pallys and druids have additional defensive Cool downs. My bloodcraze when max spec only heals for at most 6k damage over 5 seconds on a 10% proc which is horrid. Anyways, my question is to other warrior tanks if your seeing this also?
Haven't been there yet, so cant respond on that particular encounter, but as a warrior i feel our cd's are good, as long as they aren't spent "on top of each other". using 1 cd at a time i feel i can put them to good use, but if i blow them all at once its 10 seconds in "Godmode" after that i'm back to 1) normal, or 2) dead, depending on the current situation.
But without Armorylinks it might be hard to compare the three of you, but both paladin and druid are hard to compare to a warrior, i'm no expert on druids, so dont call me on that, but if your paladin is block-capped its gonna show, and quite a lot too.
I'm aware of druid mechanic of dodge/soak but what they're mastery does is beyond me. (perhaps more dmg-absorb from savage defense?)
If so that would also affect a comparison between the three of you, as in 2 classes with good mastery/high mastery-rating or perhaps simply more mastery than you have. (if you have any, which i dont know)
In this Tier of content expect to get spliced a few more times, Like i have come to learn.
We won't get pretty avoidance or Mitigation till later into heroic modes.
