Always get First Aid, no matter what class you are, even if you're a healing class. You never know when it can come in handy. It'll also reduce downtime while leveling.
For money, pick up two gathering profession. Most people will tell you to take Skinning and either Mining or Herbalism. Mineral and Herb nodes can both be tracked on the minimap, but not both at once, which is why most people don't choose to go Mining and Herbalism, but rather just one of them.
For gear, either Blacksmithing or Engineering are both great. Blacksmithing can provide you with some pretty nice weapons or armor, while Engineering will get you some GREAT helms that will last you until T5+, and some other cool toys to play around with.
It's all about preference. I'd just go look up the things you can make with different Professions and decide for yourself. Good luck!
