No I don't think it was necessarily rude, I think it would have been nice for you guys to stay and help her out, I probably would have, but I think your primary responsibility is the group you're in, and sticking with them.
If you wanted to be really nice you could whisper to her that you'd get into a group with her after you were done with your group and then try to help her find a few others to do the quests, but I don't think you were under any obligation to her.

Not rude by any means. Honestly, if anyone was even slightly in the wrong it was her for asking another group to double kill just to help her out. Granted, it would have been a very nice gesture to
offer
to kill the mob again for her (if that is what the group decided), but she should not have requested the service.

You needed 5 for those? I 3-manned the giant, and the other 3 group quests there I could have soloed. I didn't even get my full complement of dots on them before they were slaughtered. Double DK ftw!

The way I see it, you have a responsibility to yourself, your guild, your party and then others - in that order. Of course it's always good to help others. That's one of the main themes of this game; quests are ALWAYS easier with more people.
