what are good proffs for a shammy?

Since you asked a vague question, I can only give you a vague answer.

Blacksmithing, Herbalism, Mining, Enchanting, Engineering, Skinning, Leatherworking, Inscription, Jewelcrafting, and Alchemy.

Blacksmithing used to be nice for shamans, but so far in Lich king, you cannot make mail, like you used to be able to do. Also weapons you can make are Swords and Melee daggers (the green mace is pretty blah), so that doesn't really help you much.

There's far less for a Shaman Blacksmith in Lk than there was in Burning Crusade. It's too bad my BS is my shaman. it's now there just for the socketing you can do, and for cash.

well my shammy doesnt have any but my other toons have that covered, want a profit of gold do mining (will have to fight for nodes atm), alchemy can make money , but would prob want herbalism with it, and can make money selling herbs as well. want to make yourself armor, be a leatherworker, they make mail armor, if you do leatherworking then you might as well take up skinning, goes hand in hand, and can make money from leatherworking, hope this helps )
