Ways around the Nerf to Steady Shot?

Ok i have a ton of haste. More so than is needed but i stack worn and proc haste just to put out a ton more auto shots. More dmg is more dmg in my book. I got to looking at my parses and the way things are working out my auto shots are making up roughly 55-60% of my dmg Serpent Sting 5% and the rest is Steady Shot.
I was wondering if we just stack a ton more haste and get the improved Arcane Shot. If it would off set the less dmg we are going to see comming from SS?

Stack no haste as BM.
sorry leth, but this doesnt make sense. are you saying to not stack haste as BM?
OP: are you saying that if you have enough haste the nerf for steady shot will be balanced out in the end? i dont think it will, you are still loosing DPS from the nerf, whether or not you have alot of haste.

How does it not make sense?
With the quiver and Serpent's Swiftness, you're already over the soft cap.
i meant as a sentence in the english laugange, it didnt make sense to me as i read it over and over. it was almost as he was speaking another language and wowhead interpreted this way. so, i was trying to get him to clarify.

ok, maybe what i was trying to get across isnt making sense to some of you. lets say that in a given time frame the way that i am set up. i get 60 autos and 40 SS's where as some one with out the haste gets 40 autos and 40 SS's. the nerf will hurt him more than me because im not relying on SS's to make up that much dmg.
you may hit harder and slower, im hitting softer but more of them. all in all my dmg and dps is on par with everyone else. The idea hit me one day when i was looking at the Cobra Reflexes talent for pets. It makes them hit much faster but for less dmg. Their dps went up. The same can be said for us. Most of you are focusing on the SS as if its the be all end all dps button hunters have. I think that if we set up just right it can be used as a filler along with casting Arcane and multi is all....
Why do you think that your dps goes through the roof when a shaman pops Heroism. its only a 30% attack speed boost. if your SS's is already at GC then the only thing that speeds up is your auto shot. Just makes sense to get as much gear with as much haste as possible, with out gimping your + hit + crit + ap.

Actually that is proper english.=) Just a different style to the everyday one.

Thanks for the clarification. Thats all i was asking.
OP: You might be putting out more shots, but you have to have a ton of haste to do this. By sacrificing AP, you lower you pets DPS also. i see where you are going with this now, but i dont think its going to work. But its would be good to check it post patch or on the PTR right now. I think its a good idea in theory but in-game i cant see it working.

ok lets theroycraft this a sec then.
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Thunderhorn&n=Cyrric
here is a link the my armory, i normally replace the Incisor with
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=43573
which puts me at 286 worn haste 8.72%
now the Tears of Bitter Anguish has a proc of 410 haste for 10 secs
The Meteorite Whetsone has 444 haste for 10 secs
The Signet of Edward the Odd has 125 haste for 13 secs
Rapid fire is 40% haste for 15 secs
IAoTH is 15% haste for 12 secs
You can get a glyph that adds 8% haste to Rapid Fire and 6% haste to IAoTH.
In theory its possible to have the haste that you need to sustain it. Also throw in Readiness and that gives you 30 secs of 48% haste from Rapid Fire in addition to what ever procs and trinkets that you use. Im testing this all out atm and figuring the numbers. I do think that it could work :P

well im saying that having your auto shot faster will increase your dps, as long as your not gimping the important stats. im also saying that it is possible to do it. And that it may be a way to not feel the nerf to SS.

Ofcourse it would increase your dps but the item alocation that would have gone to haste go to AP or another stat would be much more benificial making your point worthless. Having any haste on an item you
ARE SACRIFICING OTHER STATS FOR IT
. That's the truth of it and their is no use arguing it. As far as the nerf to steady shot there is no way around it, get over it move on look somewhere else you will feel it no matter what.
