Weapon enchant and libram? (prot)

2 questions
1)Weapon enchant. Posted a few months ago (3.0) and best the post could muster was old world potency, 20 strength, is the best tanking enchant for us.
Is this still true? just read the list of weapon enchants and cant find a single "tanking" enchant anywhere.
2) Libram. I am still sporting the Badge of justice BC libram. I dont end up cycling through Judgments enough to make the new emblem worth it imo.
So question is, should i be using judgments every 8-10 sec? seems to be better ways to up threat w/ other spells that almost takes judgments out of the rotation.

1) Enchant -
Potency (+20 Str) is often argued as the number 1 tanking enchant, even still, yes. Many still argue that an AP Chant is better, but hold ur horses 'cause a new 75 stamina enchant is on the way!
2) Libram -
Many people are using the old BC libram from BoJ because it helps to increase overall damage reduction, but as you hit lvl 80, this becomes much less true. It effectively only gains you 2% block, which is still helpful if you're trying to reach that ever-difficult block rating cap. Once you've mastered that with some excess block rating, you can ditch the libram and use that block VALUE Libram from the Emblems.
3) Since you REALLY have 3 questions: Threat -
Judgments are absolutely still a part of your primary threat rotation. You should be specing 1/2 improved Judgments to maximize ur rotation without wasting points. If you're also talented to use the Judgements of the Just, you'll find overall damage decrease with it as well. Your judgments will be pulling triple duty while using the Emblem libram: Increasing Block Value, creating threat, and slowing your target. You can refer to the 96969 tanking rotation sticky for proper use of the Judgment in your threat rotation,

Potency, with divine str, is worth about 54 AP or something like that. That's pretty dang close to the new +60 AP chant. Add to that, the benefit you get from additional damage mitigation from blocks, and you have mitigation AND threat from the +20 str. The +60 AP only gives you threat. I think that divine str also stacks with kings.
There is a new chant coming out that will give +75 stam or something to a weapon, and that will increase threat a bit, but, str is still superior to SP and you won't get a ton of SP from 75 stam anyway. It's going to be a tough call and will have to wait for that chant to come out before making any conclusions on it. For now, def go with 20 str

yea, read that 96969 post in more detail waiting for replies to this topic.
I guess it was a 3part question Thx for answering all three. Gear is funny over the years ive started to realize If it looks like a stupid proc/buff/debuff its worth looking into because about half the time its something you are doing wrong that makes the buff/proc seem stupid :P the other half of the time.. its a stupid buff.

Has any1 considered Titanium Weapon chain (reducing the duration of Disarm effects by 50% and increasing your hit rating by 28). Yeah i know theres no added threat generation and its certainly not as good as 75 stam but i have found that in quite a few instances im getting dissarmed so it would help with that. And aslo who can complain about 28 hit rating.
But im only speculating here.

Yeah the weapon chain is always a nice addition too, but in comparison, I think most people will weigh the threat + increased block of potency over it. It's a matter of preference though. Personally, I think if I have a hard time reaching the hit cap I will probably go with a chain as well, but more for the hit than the actual decrease in disarm time. I just happen to spec for Pursuit of Justice which does that already.

You are aware that the more stam a pala has the more threat you make anyway through Touched by the light
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=53592
so the more stam = more spell dmg meaning more threat from concercration.
And yes the armsman enchant is pretty decent too
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=44625
2% extra threat and 10 parry rating.
i think its a toss up between this and the str glove enchant.

The extra threat you get from the 75 stamina is not why you would take the 75 stamina enchant. It's for the... uh... STAMINA.
The Armsman Enchant is probably one of the best glove enchants you can get as a tank. Threat AND avoidance? Very nice. Remind me again, why are we talking about glove enchants in this thread?
