I would definitely go with the valorous for most purposes. Slightly more avoidance (even though there is less dodge rating than parry, that will still win unless diminishing returns kick in), a good chunk of strength, some block rating, some stamina, some armor and finally a set bonus. All that against some expertise... Expertise is a sexy stat, but not that sexy.
