What do you think the next hero class should be?

A lot of people on the official forums keep crying out for demon hunters and dark rangers and blood mages... personally I think we need to go with another healing class. To be more specific, a healing/CC/Threat management class.
So... I give you the spirit walker:
-available to all races (to be fair, since dk's got it the same way)
-Can use staves, 1h maces, shields, daggers
-can wear up to leather armor
Abilities (and talent trees) would be split into 3 basic functions:
-Healing
-Control (both crowd control and other situation-controlling effects)
-Utility (threat management and damage abilities)
Not sure about names for the trees really... maybe Restoration, Influence, and Balance respectively.
They'd be a mana using class like other healers (unless a new, better resource system for them can be put in, but mana works just as well). I'm not sure how well they'd be able to solo, being more buff/heal oriented than damage - chances are their damage abilities would be like counter-spells, making them good at fighting against spellcasters, but weaker against melee opponents. Here's some sample abilities:
Control Magic
(Control Tree)
X mana, 3 second cast, channeled
Take direct control over an elemental target for up to one minute.
(works like priest mind control, on elementals only)
Feedback
(Balance Tree)
X mana, Instant cast, 30 second cooldown
Surrounds the Spirit Walker in an anti-magic shield for 15 seconds. For the duration, any spellcast directed at the Spirit Walker drains mana and health from the caster equal to 10% of the damage inflicted.
(So, if a mage casts a 5000 damage pyro at the spirit walker while feedback is up, the mage would be burned for 500 mana and health).
Spellbreak
(Control Tree)
X mana, Instant Cast, 1 minute cooldown
(requires melee weapon, melee range)
A melee strike that reduces all spell damage dealt by the target by 75% for 10 seconds.
Cloud
(Balance Tree)
X mana, 3.5 second cast, 1 minute cooldown
Creates a magic-dampening cloud in the targeted area, reducing the hit chance of all targets within the cloud by 20% for 10 seconds.
Shackles
(Control Tree)
X mana, instant cast, channeled
Prevents the target from moving or taking any action for up to one minute, while channeling.
Spirit Link
(Restoration Tree)
X mana, Instant Cast, 30 second cooldown
Links the spirit walker and a targeted party member for 15 seconds. For the duration, all damage and healing recieved by the spirit walker or the linked target will be split equally between the two.
Disenchant
(Restoration Tree)
X mana, instant cast
Removes one curse or magic effect from the target.
(castable on allies only)
Ancestral Spirit
(restoration Tree)
X mana, 10 second cast
Ressurects a dead allied target with X health and mana.
(Same as the shaman ancestral spirit, just a rez spell)
Ethereal Form
(balance tree)
X mana, 3 second cast, 2 minute cooldown
The spirit walker becomes ethereal, rendering him immune to all attacks for up to 1 minute. For the duration, the spirit walker cannot cast any spells.
(could be cancelled manually)
Phase Shift
(restoration tree)
X mana, instant cast, 5 minute cooldown
Buffs the target party or raid member for 30 seconds. Each time the target suffers damage, it phase shifts, reducing damage taken from the next attack or spell by 100%. This effect cannot occur more than once every 5 seconds.
Mana Flare
(Balance tree)
X mana, 2 second cast
Afflicts the target with a mana flare, causing it to take X damage each time it casts a spell. Lasts 20 seconds. Mana flare cannot effect more than one target at a time.
True Sight
(Balance Tree)
Passive
While under the effects of phase shift, ethereal form, spirit link, or feedback, the spirit walker's stealth detection is greatly increased.
Absorb Mana
(Balance Tree)
3 second cast
Drains X mana from the target, giving 50% of the amount drained to the spirit walker.
Spirit Touch
(restoration tree)
Instant Cast, 10 second cooldown
Drains X mana from the spirit walker and transfers it to an allied party or raid member.
Healing Wave
(restoration tree)
X mana, 3.5 second cast
Heals party and raid members in a cone in front of the spirit walker for X health. Effects a maximum of 5 targets.
Personally I think such a class would fit in great with the emerald dream expansion (which is probably what the next expansion will be - either the emerald dream or the great sea). It'd also give players a healing class that's more 'fun' to play than the current ones, I think - since it has a larger focus on reactive abilities and controlling enemies.

I think I saw an old blue post with archdruid in it. It'd be so stupid if every playable race can be archdruid. There should be race-specific Hero Classes after DK's.

The reason I didnt suggest arch-druid or keeper of the grove is because... well, all of their spells are already utilized by the current druid class.
Spirit walkers are just as in touch with nature as druids are, and the emerald dream is a spirit world - so the class fits.
I really think the next hero class should be a healing-capable class though. yea, demon hunters are cool and all... but we have no shortage of dps at the moment. The next class available should be something fun enough to encourage people to play healers, not another dps class that wont get a raid spot because the millions of rogues, hunters, warlocks, and fury warriors took up the room already.
EDIT:
And by the way, I know I didnt list a lot of soloing/offensive abilities, but what I put in the post were just general examples of spells the spirit walker would have.
For soloing, you could have any number of basic damage spells. The class could also have spells that summon 'spirits' to attack the enemy, or drain-life style spells that heal the spirit walker while dealing damage.

I'd love to see an Apothecary class, available to trolls, undead, blood-elfs, humans, gnomes and night-elfs that is based on conjuring consumables. Basicaly creating vials of different substances and buffing allies/damaging oponents with the help of thrown bottles (like using bombs). Aoe buffing and dmg plus some poison clouds, diseases and dots. Like a potion doc.
If you've played ragnarok that sounds exactly like the Biochemist class... You craft different bottles of healing potions and even acid... You can use the Acid ones for offensive attacks and you can throw healing potions at other players so you can heal them....Also they have pets... Itd be cool to see a healing class with a pet :P Maybe if the pet helped healing too?

The Emerald Dream is untouchable by those who are not druids. However since Night Elves tend to get themselves sucked into corruption upon entering, we will have to turn to our long forgotten acquaintances for help on the matter. From across the seas in a vast and unknown land of Pandorea, the noble and isolated warriors of the Pandoren will come to aid both factions in order to save their druidic brethren.
World of Warcraft: Into the Emerald Dream will feature the race "Pandoren" into the game. It will be a race available to both factions, and will include 2 new hero classes playable by the Pandoren and a handful of other races. Brewmaster (Pandoren exclusive) and Sworddancer (available to Pandoren, Orcs, Night Elves, Trolls, and Draenai).
http://warcraft3.filefront.com/potd/3225
<--picture of Pandoren Brewmaster.
Pandoren will also be givin the option to play as: Hunters, Druids and Shaman.
The starting questline of the Pandoren people will be a series of quests (in the newly discovered Pandorea Kingdom) after the Tauren and Night elf druids search for assistance in recovering their trapped friends. As a new pandoren recruit you will complete a string of quests designed to help you designate the faction you will be assisting. (If you are on PVP server you will stick with your accounts chosen faction). All characters will start off at level 1 (even the 2 new hero classes). Pandoren will not be able to attack other Pandoren regardless of flagging or faction (except in bg's arena's and if you are flagged for battle by an NPC in a hostile town).
^This is my dream really, none of it is going to happen I don't think xD.

pandaren do not need to be added to WoW. They were a joke class in warcraft 3 to begin with.

That's because the lead artist and writer at blizzard, samwise, is obsessed with pandas. He put the panda faces/paws on demon hunter weapons as a joke, and he put the pandaren brewmaster in as a joke.
They were never meant to be a serious part of the game, and honestly I dont want to see a bunch of fat kung fu panda idiots running around.

Apothecary sounds like a great idea. Buffing/healing, and what about vials that shapeshift you into different forms for a brief period? Or maybe just one form like a Dr. Jeckyl-Mr. Hyde kind of thing =D

Oh and I suppose gnomes are 100x better eh? Fat Kung Fu Panda Idiots. First off its a panda, what do you expect it to be skinny? Secondly the kung fu crap is entirely specyist >:\ Idiots? Did you just throw that in there for the hell of it? Pandoren island and such will add multitudes of new dimension to the game. More so then the trolls or gnomes do.
Apothecary sounds like an alchemist, cept he throws pots :\ There was a class in Ragnarok Online "Alchemist" that threw pots to friendlys, or explosives at mobs. But for the most part what you've stated sounds like an alchemist and an engineer altogether on a priest.
The Shadow hunter idea... whats so special about a shadow hunter?
We need watcher class. Like Maiev Shadowsong and her crew.

gnomes played a part in warcraft history long before many of the current races came about. Gnomish submarines and flying machines were a big part of warcraft 2, but most of the people playing WoW dont know that because they just jumped on the mmo bandwagon without looking into the genre's past history.
