What is in the Wowhead client 'Items' section ?

I know that I can open the Creatures, Objects, Pages and Quests lists by double-clicking on them, and if I double-click the entries in the Creatures or Quests lists, it will take me to the corresponding Wowhead page.

However, the 'Items' list doesn't appear to be accessible and what's more, the value of it varies - presently, it's 1742, but I might login tomorrow to find that it's a different amount, e.g. 600, etc.

So what exactly is the 'Item' list and what does it do ? How is it different to the 'Objects'' list ?

I would Assume it is for "Items". Items such as Gear, Weapons, Pots, and various other things that go in your bags.

Objects are more static, such as Chests that you can click on.

To clarify a little:

Ghost Iron Deposit (Object)
Ghost Iron Ore (Item)

I guess kinda like the cache files, it would be way too much data to display this way.
