What should I hook?

I've made a small AddOn to display the caster variable on my buffs (UnitBuff("Player",index))
However, I can't find what to hook when I add the line in the tooltip...
OnSetSpell does not work.
OnShow works on everything without a duration.
I can't find anything like "OnSetBuff" or simlar.
Hooking OnUpdate results in the line showing, but without the tooltip resizing.
