2 handed is nearly always better.

There are a couple of exceptions for DPS'ing, skill wise, but those skills are far and few in between.

I assume you meant two one-handers. Yes, two one-handers will make it easier to get hit capped, along with stacking expertise. With threat the way it is, aggro isn't an issue while DW, but the parryhaste effect might get annoying after a while. For saftey, grab 2h and save some +def gear.

Anyways, I believe I used http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25762 from 68 to 71 at which point this became better. I upgraded to this as soon as I could to the Ring of Blood quests.

For heroic tanking I'm using Dreadlord's Blade from regular CoT:CoS. It's the best pre-Naxx DK tanking wep imo.

two handers :) and if you are human use swords or maces cause expertise
and as ugly smelly orc use axes for expertise bonus
edit: i must add that smelly, i am only writing truth :) everytime

Actually, this is superior, but it costs far more.

True. But I was focusing on affordable gear. IE, quest rewards and the like.
