What type of priest are you?

Hey everyone, I'm new to the boards, not new to the site. I've been reading some really good info and critisicm for a newer priest like myself.

So my thread title is not for disc/holy/shadow, its for the healers out there. When I was druid healing, there was the heavy hitting heals and HoTs, it appears from the talents there are some variety here too.

So do you find yourself MT healing with G.Heals? Flash/Renew/CoH? What type of healer are you? For my build I was leaning away from the G.Heals and doing some PvP so I ended up with this:

14/0/47 as well now, but I spent the first 6 months of TBC as a raid healbot. CoH is great for higher-end instances like Hyjal and Black Temple in my opinion, instance-cast group healing that's relatively cheap, but perhaps a more flexible build would be 23/38/0 to get Imp DS (if no other priest is specced for it).

Gheal are great depending on who else is healing; what I mean by that is I ended up doing a lot of overhealing in raids because of the cast time; by the end I could get one off, another class had tossed a heal. So it's a good idea to use lower ranks of Gheals: lower mana cost and less overhealing overall. Gheal is great when you work out a casting rotation and especially when you understand that canceling your cast can yield better overall results. I'd spam ProM whenever it's up, keep Renew up on fights with silence/stuns/spike damage is a good idea as well.

I cannot stress this enough: don't spam Flash Heal. It's a convenient spell for emergencies, but it's not mana efficient by any stretch.

EDIT: I just re-read the OP, I got confused by "MT healing" and PvP; which is it you're aiming for?
