What's the best spec for raids now?

This is only by what I have seen or heard, my mage is still fire at lvl 80...
All the specs are viable for raids, but as of right now I would use arcane or frost due to the RNG of fire from lack of crit. Sometimes it up with about 16k dps and other times its at 5k. Arcane and frost tend to keep their numbers even a little better and I would take that over a spike of a few extra thousand dps that might not happen.

Did the daily heroic in SFK today with another mage. He was fire, and i'm arcane.
He had 10.7k dps and i had 10.2k dps. And he's allso outgearing me.
Tbh i'm not sure what the best spec is atm.
Glyphs and gemming, and allso speccing properly plays a major role on dps.
I didn't find anything usefull on EJ regarding arcane, and was hoping to find something here.
I have gemed some haste, wich apparently isn't very good atm. I dunno..hoped someone here had an answer :)

It actually depends, I keep a fire and frost spec (and rank in both :P ).
For single target fights and onces that don't require a lot of movement, like Tron Council, Chimaeron and Valiona & Theralion frost will be your best bet. Learn the rotation, **it's not too difficult**
However, for heavy AoE and/or big movement fights like Maloriak, Magmaw, Halfus and Artramedes fire will trump frost by a long shot if you manage your cooldowns and procs correctly. With fire you really need to wait to use your pyroblast and combustion at the correct times, but once you learn fights, it's never too bad.
**At the beginning of the fight, pop mirrors, IV, FForb, pet freeze, DF, Cold Snap, FForb DF then go nuts until IV is gone and pop it again.
