Dont let the Hunter get distance on you, Stun them and DPS them. Dont bother with their pet and you will be fine.
If only most hunters didn't have 40 seconds of stun immunity. Then again I'm thinking of arenas whereas this is probably related to BGs or world PvP?

How can DKs be a problem? Easiest class to kill... Even as holy...
Hunters can be a pain if they get range on you, so keep hand of freedom on so you wont be slowed, repent when they get to far away.

Unholy DK's are being nerfed. What you need to do is learn the specs. An unholy with bone armor ATM can also spec something in frost, and using both at the same time makes them somewhere close to 75% damage mitigation combined with their spell repelling nature. Learn to recognize when they do this, and kite the hell out of them until it wears off.
I rarely have issues with hunters unless they have a pocket healer with them(namely a shaman healer).

Repent their pet? Tee-hee :D.

Repent their pet then go after them and you should be fine.
Good luck with that.
Repentance doesn't work on anything a hunter can make a pet from.
The hunter's Aspect of the Cheetah allows him to outrun you.
If the hunter gets range and isn't a complete idiot, game over.

Yup, this is pretty much the case. Someone was complaining about how OP Paladins were, being able to bubble and heal themselves (semi) regardless of spec; they completely ignored the fact that as trade-off for those facts we're the only melee-based damage class who doesn't have a snare or a gap-closer to avoid kiting.

Assuming he has all the room in the world to run, right? Your best bet is to try to use the terrain to your advantage. Yes, if you're in an open area then you're going to have trouble. In a confined space like the WSG flag rooms (or even those WSG huts) or the bunkers/towers in AV then you'll have an advantage.
Anyway, I digress. You're going to want to judge justice if you can get in range, cause then he can't run faster than 100% speed, Aspect of Cheetah or not. Use Hand of Freedom to get out of Concussion shot or wingclip. Hammer of Justice if it's not on cooldown. It certainly is a hard fight, as hard a fight as a frost mage (bugger spellstole my Hand of Freedom and kited me to death. Shield was on CD)
Best of luck!

Naturally. No limitations were included in the discussion. Obviously, in a BG or arena where you may have help to corral the hunter and he can't use AotC freely, things are much more up in the air as well.
The inability to deal with an effective kite is a Ret Paladin's Achilles heel. In situations where kiting isn't viable, Ret will smash just about anybody's face in.

Did anyone notice judgement of justice will slow them down to your normal movement speed, preventing them from getting very little to no benefit from aspect of the cheetah/pack?

Long known, and irrelevant if the hunter never lets you within 10 yards.
