So.. the mentally in WoW is no good anymore. I call out to all of you who recognize this:
LFG announces group is ready.
By luck the whole group accepts and we're off.
Well inside, we dont get all the buffs from the classes due to lazyness (?).
I always greet with "elo!" or something. Rarely more than one guy replies hello back.
The tank does not wait for everyone but rushes away and collects the whole room's mobs.
The healer is spamhealing his ass off.
IF tank waits for the guys, someone yells in caps lock "go go go" and often pulls mobs himself despite being a cloth guy. When he dies he spam the chat with well...You know the words.
Or the tank just leave the group. Although, this I can understand
sometimes
.
- Where is the good old mentality that once existed? Are we in such hurry really?
- Just for the kicks, build yourself a macro that greets everyone when LFG:ing.
Hugs and kisses

target healer
cast misdirect
target bad guys
cast multishot
accuse tank of not being able to hold aggro
I've never been enough of a %^&*!@bag to actually try this, but I'm always tempted...

I'm having a major problem doing random Cat heroics with tanks who don't bother to buy MoP greens on the AH.
I mean, it's cool that they want to play "legit" like that, but not when it leads to repair bills that
I
have to pay.

I think you just have a nostalgic, selective memory.

If the tank is doing their job, and the group is still wiping...it's not the tank's gear that is at fault.

That's
partially
true. It really didn't help that I kept getting crappy healers who were like "sorry, went AFK. What did I miss? Why are we all dead?" and "Well, I THOUGHT I had line of sight..."
But there's still no excuse for using substandard gear in a critical role, and there are times when everyone does their job and the group wipes anyway.

I can relate to this. I usually greet everyone with a 'Morning!' (no matter what the time is!) when I join a group and most of them actually tend to answer.
I see it as a way to remove any kind of "tension" there is in the group to prove that we're okay to talk with. :)

Gear from the heroic's expansion that is sufficient to get into the heroic is "substandard"?
No wonder people had so much trouble with dungeons in Cataclysm, their gear sucked.

If YOU think they are doing a #$%^ty job why don't you step up and become a tank? I hate people who gripe about ^&*!ty tanks/ heals and only know how to be a dps.
OT: personally I'm tired of running same stuff all the time, and have so little time to actually get to play so when I do I'd rather do it as quickly as possible. Granted I'm not a "Gogogogo" type of person since I have been a tank / heals and that stuff annoys the hell out of me.

I guess my question would be why are you running Cata heroics at-level? Even for transmog it seems like it would just be easier to just hit 90 and grab a friend or two to steamroll through them.
OT: I usually reply if someone says something in Heroics, but otherwise I only really talk to ask the healer if they need mana or if I should pull faster; but I'm very talkative in lower level dungeons for some reason. As for the "good old days", we only had those because you had to sift through trade chat to assemble a group of half-competent players, if one dropped to too many wipes you had to send someone back to trade to recruit for your half-finished dungeon, which nobody wanted to do.

It became substandard when MoP greens hit the AH, because the standard itself changed.

Because I don't have a tank at level 85?
That won't last long, though - I finally scraped up enough JP for a Bloody Arcane Raper, and now I'm grooming a blood DK to be my new main.
If you ding 85 and then jump into cata heroics, you're going to get wrecked, and that's after 3 or so rounds of nerfs to those.
Only if somebody drops the ball or doesn't know the fight, or is bringing their old Wrath gear for teh lulz.
Competent
groups with heirlooms and ilvl ~300 blues can still clear the average heroic.
(If you grab the 372 greens from MOP? You're probably safer, somewhat, but you're still going to get your arse handed to you.)
The i384-i390 greens are more likely, as they're the ones that require c85. I'm not sure if there are any i372 greens; I think it goes from the i364s at c83 to the i377s at c84.
