There is no best race...
Dwarves get
Stoneform
, which seems nifty, but something tells me it's not as good as it seems.
Humans get
Every Man for Himself
,
Perception
and
Mace
+
Sword Specialization
. Seems lovely to me, but keep in mind that Every Man for Himself is only useful if you don't have the PvP trinket.
Blood Elves have
Arcane Torrent
and
Magic Resistance
, both of which are nice against casters. The thing is, if you are Retribution, you shouldn't have that much of a problem taking casters down, and if you are not Ret, those two won't save you.
Draenei's
Shadow Resistance
,
increase in hit
and
HoT
seem all kind of shabby.
In my opinion, Human if you are Alliance, Blood Elf (duh!) if you are Horde.
