Who can use Shield Spikes?

I've seen blacksmiths offering to attach shield spikes to other peoples' shields, but being a noob to paladins, I've never had it done. I'm assuming that the requirement of Blacksmithing is only for the person doing the attachment, sort of like an enchanter does. But I can't help but wonder if there's a minimum level to it. Or could any level 19 twink pally/warrior have a Felsteel Shield Spike attached?

I think you have to be lvl 70.

You should be able to get any spike on any shield, just have a BS attach it through trade window.

Okay, I just tried it. My level 15 paladin now has a Felsteel Shield Spike on her level 15 green shield. So it definitely works. Thank you.

Better question, is the shield spike worth it. 70 pally looking to start gruul's. Is the spike worth it for aggro, or is there better uses for the enchantment spot?

no, 18 stam is better for your shield
