it is every Tuesday since as long as i can remember. scheduled weekly maintenance.
schedule your leveling around the time stated every week. they warn you a day ahead of time when you open wow.
edit: you will also notice several other topics about the Tuesday maintenance

Sorry to say this but... its a game... they don't owe us ANYTHING. People ask this question every week.
You aren't entitled to anything, you choose to play WoW, and this is simply how the game has always been.
It shouldn't be a big deal because most of the time (when you aren't on break) like me, I would be in class, or at work during a tuesday morning.
Say server maintenance lasts 8 hours. That is 1/3 of a day. So that would be 1/90th of a month (assuming 30 day month) at $15 per month that is... about 17 cents.
NOBODY is that cheap as to where 17 cents makes or breaks their budget; and it wont impress anyone here to say that it does.
If 17 cents breaks your budget, I would suggest you stop trolling on the wowhead forums and pick up some extra hours of work, instead of sitting at home on your tuesday mornings.
