if that's how you want to be about things, then i say it was the romans who first colonized those islands so maybe the ancient romans made WoW?
well few holes in that theory.
1. Those islands? Ireland is 1 island
2. Colonized by the Romans? Never happened. Ireland was free of all roman influence (excluding 1 small settlement). Any and all attempts for the Romans to conquer/colonise always ended badly for them.
3. No one considers themselves to be Roman or of Roman descent (well maybe some Italians do, you would have to ask them), where as a large percentage of Americans considers themselves to be Irish or of Irish descent (however distantly). Which is onething I always thought was weird about the US, ye seem to consider yourselfs part of another country ('Irish-American' for example). Why not just 'American' but thats slightly of topic.

To put my little input on the whole "Ireland" debate... I think it was the Vikings who first established themselves on the Eire and found Dublin. Pardon me if I'm wrong though.
