Why H Nax when you can't do normal?

Seeing alot of guilds/friends doing H Nax and when I ask them how it went, they reply "We got pwned". Then I ask, Well, how did you do on normal Nax, they reply "Never tried it" or, "not good".
Why are so many people skipping normal Nax ni favor of Heroic when they can't even clear normal? I know loot table is better, but, don't you want to learn the fights? Is there not enough difficulty difference in the two to make normal worth it?

Difficulty is similar on either mode, depending on fight (some are simpler on 25-man while others are tougher, especially those where space is at a premium since you have to fit a lot more people in there). However, the 25-man version ideally requires somewhat better gear than the 10-man. The latter can basically be done in good blues while the former requires more than a few epics to be done comfortably.

Pugging a 25 man this early in the expansion sounds like a nightmare.

The reason its taking so long for 25 man PuGs to start is mentality like that.
The content is PuGable, people just need to start doing it to learn it.

Well, for one, in the end of TBC people pugged everything from Gruul/Mag to SWP. Not everyone has realized that it's a bit different now.
However, pugging 25-man raids should as you say always come after the 10-man version. Why? Because you learn so much from the encounter in 10-man and there's not as many people that will !@#$ it up for you. But when you come from TBC where you after a reset ran through Karazhan, Zul'Aman and also various 25-man instances, it can get a tad boring once you're done with Sartharion, Naxxramas and Malygos.
Sartharion and Vault of Archavon is a nice transition to the other 25-man instances, so once you've got a pug that you know can behave fairly well, I see no problem with pugging Naxxramas as well.

Overall it seems like things are moving faster than ever before. I blame it on guilds that clear everything within 3-4 days of release...*cough*...

there really isnt much difference betwen heroic and normal, with the exception of 1 thing: enrage timers.
If you struggle in 10 man you for damn sure arent going to make it through 25's. Most fights are dps sensitive and 1 screw up can cost you the extra dps you need to finish.
The mechanics however are the same, only real exception being Instructor Rezuvious needing priests to MC rather than 2 ppl using crystals.

OT, but I just pugged a 25 man heroic arch, does that count? We one shot him. Couldn't believe the amazing dps I was seeing. For once, as a prot pally, I was seeing people blowing me away in dps and total damage. xD
Best raid pug I ever had.

Its much easier to find a pug slot in a 25 man raid right now than a 10 man. Its very simple most guilds are able to field a 10 man. Many guilds are organized to do so. So there are a number of pug opportunities where you'll have 15-20 members with 10 man experience who need to fill out the raid and will pug people with high end blues. People who are doing the rep/heroic grind in 5 man pugs, discover that, while they can't get invites to 10 mans, they can to 25 man raids. Plus as has been mentioned, the 25 man raids are not designed to
require
10 man experience or gear.

To be completely honest, my guild finds 25 man easier for the most part. The reason being that mana based classes get so much more mana return in 25 man. Also dps also gain a huge increase in damage the increase in buffs that they get, including multiple BLs per fight. The only problem with 25 are fights such as Gluth, where the number of adds becomes hectic to try and figure out which mobs are fallowing you or Thaddius where you risk that one person with downs that will mess things up for the rest of your group. Besides fights like these groups really shouldn't have much of a problem.
Edit:
We just farted through the spider wing and plague wing tonight even with a substantial amount of lag when we started the spider wing.
