I agree that there's jerks on both sides. I play an Alliance druid on Kazzak, mainly because my friends do. I'm 14 years old, I was 12 when I started playing. I'm getting a little tired of you all blaming the jerks on the "12 year olds". I can buy that most 12 year olds aren't very good at english and don't understand the game, but not all are so, there are also a lot of older jerks. I tend to keep quiet about my age when in groups since I know that most people will loose respect for me, not because I'm rude or can't play; but because I'm younger than them. I have never been accused of being a noob or being rude, nor have i ever called someone else a noob.
I almost never gank, I usually just /greet hordes or maybe help them kill a mob to get them to understand that I don't want to kill them. In most cases this works, the horde might help me a little, or we just go different ways. Some horde however, proof of that jerks exist even on the horde side, kills me even after I help them kill a mob. These jerks are often UD rogues or Orc hunters, but ofc not always.
I just wanted to let you all know that not all young people are idiots/jerks/noobs and so on.

I usually encounter the exact opposite. Most of the time Horde are the assholes, and Alliance (while some might be a bit slow, heh) are the nicer ones.

Honestly in my experience jerks attract jerks and nice people attract nice people.
