So, the other day, I was thinking about one of the best zones IMO; Netherstorm. To me, it seems like the only Zone that cannot be restored. This thought sparked a story idea, and so I present;
Wings Upon the Neverstorm
!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“You are not prepared”
Truer words had never been spoken, he thought. None had been prepared; not for Illidan, not for Kael’Thas, and certainly not for Kil’Jaeden. But, what no one had ever even thought to prepare for was what was to come next.
He sighed, “Four years. And nothing has changed.”
His statement wasn’t entirely true. A lot had changed around Outland. Zangramarsh and Nagrand were slowly being restored, and Blade Edge Mountains would surely follow along with Hellfire Peninsula. Shadowmoon Valley even showed promise. But, as for his own home, Netherstorm still looked the same. The small settlements struggled and had shrunk; Area 52 was now almost solely occupied by the warriors from Shattrath.
The purple sky was still filled with chaos. It was as if the Twisting Nether wanted the piece of land, it twisted and turned in attempts to yank away pieces. In four years, nothing seemed to have changed. His home was slowly being eaten by the Nether, shrinking a little bit at a time.
“Four years.” He echoed. It was the same pattern he went through every night. He would do his bit and find what food he could, preform his patrols, and look up at the sky. Every night, that same sky.
Then, the chaos split. It was only for a moment, but in that moment everyone in Netherstorm saw what everyone everywhere else in Outland could see. The planets of the Nether, beautiful stars and other objects, floating through the universe. The chaos was split, making way for a strange yellow light. The it closed again, the planets and stars gone. But the light was still there, making its way to the ground.
He watched it hit. There was no noise, no impact. He spread his wings and the Netherdrake flew to where the object had vanished. Every night, the same sky, but not tonight.

An interesting concept. However, please plan on making each page longer than this. It helps to keep the story flowing.
