Their is a major problem with warlocks; in other seasons they were a tank class, and in S1 they were WAY OP with DoTs. They lagged behind, went into the most boring spec ever (SL/SL) to be competitive, and it turned out to be quite powerful. Now, our PvP was called "broken" as we lost our primary spec and tactics, requiring new ones to be made.
No matter how far they nerf fear, people will call it OP as you still can be feared of me while I'm romping around Wintergrasp and into a large pack of mobs that eat you while I /cackle. Survivability is a problem when, with 21k HP and 900resiliance, with Soullink up, I can be taken down in 3sec flat in 3v3. Factoring in reatcion time and the like, heals has almost no time to help me. In battlegrounds, a similer thing.
What I want to see is 2 changes to warlocks. They both need to occour (one is nerf, one is buff. Instituting 1 will make warlocks either stupidly OP, I mean Warrior Resto OP, Holy Unholy OP, C'thun pre-nerf OP, or make warlocks about as dangerous as a sandwhich board.)
Buff: Increase Survivability, pets gain resiliance (give this to hunters and DK ghouls (if spec'd) for balance) and improve escape methods. Entirley new form of CC. CoEx gains a buff, CoTouges gets buffed, Weakness gets a buff.
Nerf: Remove Fear. Howl of Terror and Deathcoil remain.
I would have called this the most retarded idea I'd ever heard 3 months ago, but now, it kinda makes sense. I mean, if you are able to actually get a fear off, chances are you are fighting a class that you don't need to be fearing in the first place.

I agree with Open, the old pvp locks were a survival class, back in the day less classes could do huge burst damage like most can today.
but there is something a little unbalenced out there in PvP.
these are 2 things I run into daily when pvping (im a boomkin)
Scenario 1: I two shot a dk with a Starfire-> wrath crit, he had about 22k.
Scenario 2: I get ambushed by a dk, hits me, i natures grasp and sprint in kitty to make some room with barksin up. pulls me back and literally obliterates me, I have 18k in chicken form.
Thats whats unbalenced about pvp now adays, so many classes and specs can 2-3 shot people.
Survival specs hardly stand a chance anymore, its all about fat crits and Ccing people to get your crits off.
i remember when a resto druid could stack resilience and run around taking damage from 4 people and not die. nowadays I see full pvp geared druids get raped by 2 guys.

Your time has come as OP, and will come again. QQ until then, or reroll.

Imalock says: stop qqing about locks we're not overpowered...only noobs qq, class means nothing, it's all about skill...
Imalock says: wtf blizz! you guys need to buff locks, ffs...skill means nothing atm it's all about class balance, cmon, nerf rogues too!
am I the only one who sees the irony?
Are you making up imaginary friends to have imaginary converstations with? I don't get it.
edit - nvm, I looked at it again and realized it's a QQ post about people QQ'ing.

I'd argue Moonkin are right up there with Warlocks, but that's just me. I've been playing, experimenting, watching videos, gearing up, reading up, but nothing seems to work properly.
Anything that looks my way just roflstomps me :/
