It will probably help people to know what faction and server you play on, whether you play on US or EU servers, what parts of the game you like to play, etc., and maybe a little more about you, so that they know if your styles and locations match up.

also, a thread like this should be on the wow general thread. Offtopic is usually for non-wow related stuff.
Having said that, what El said is right, server name, faction, and what type of content you like to do most would help when getting companions.
