There are many stories sprouting up and I admit i've had a hand in it myself. With plenty of writers about why not put our heads together? If you agree to try this then please be serious about it. That doesn't mean posting daily, but that does mean not being some jerk who posts something random or negative. I'm looking for constructive criticism among us aswell. With that said I think ill start.
Kii'tha Stormsong dusted the grit off of her armor. An orcish veteran, she was experienced enough to see the ravages of Burning Legion. As mindless as the sterotypes make the orcs sound, she was one of the few exceptions to the rule. The alliance was filled with good people and she made many freinds while away. Of course they were all dead. Every last one of them. This made her quite bitter and so she continued to kill them, years after war was proclaimed finished. Even when the two factions left the Outlands in search of new war she remained, tracking down the screeching feinds that had brought her such greif.
Gyerfeng, her wolf, poked his snout over the map she had been studying. She was no hunter but the wolf pup she found in the smoking ruins of fel wood had bonded to her like no other animal or sentient beign even. Nearby a nearby volcanic vent erupted. Shadowmoon was healing after Illidain's fall but only slightly. Gaping wounds still rent the earth apart. As she looked up she spotted a bright star, growling larger. Larger still it resembled a meteor hurtling towards her with a malevolant green glow.
As the meteorite fell, Gyerfang spread his legs apart, and started growling at it. You could see his muscles twitch, and his fur seemed to ripple. Kii'Tha noticed this, and something immediately felt wrong. She leaped out of the way of the firey boulder, and watched as in mid air it seemed to shatter into smaller boulders, then unfold into a towering giant of green rock and flame, with particularly bright sparks on the rock where the head would be on any true humanoid, which eerily reminded her of eyes. It was an infernal.
The infernal lunged towards the female orc and her companion, preparing to crush them both with it's massive strength.
Kii'Tha dodged the demon's attack, and slammed her greataxe into its leg. But hte infernal didn't so much as feel the blow, and it pulled it's leg away, taking the axe with it.
Kii'tha, scowling, grabbed the other axe on her back and charged the creature, Gyerfang moving with her.
She swung her axe at the infernal, blowing out it's kneecap. Yet in mere moments it collected another stone and snarled at her. Kii'tha did not waste this time and grabbed some explosives from her bag, a gift from a witty gnome who had taken an interest in her. Of course he was dead too, killed by some unholy spawn during the third war. Not bothering to light the fuses she threw the bombs at the infernal.
