Wowhead Looter Password Length Problems

Hey guys, I tried to search to see if this problem has been mentioned already, but I couldn't find it.

So I started using LastPass and have been slowly replacing all my regular passwords with ridiculously long passwords auto generated by LastPass. The web interface works fine when using a password of 16 characters or so (i forget the exact count i was using previously), however the wowhead looter application cannot login to the wowhead servers to upload data when your password is long.

I'm not sure if the field stops taking the character inputs, if it doesn't store all the characters, or if the login method is losing the last characters of the password.

My work around was to go back and change my password to a shorter one, and voila! all is well again.

I don't currently need any help with this, but thought it was worth mentioning (and if it gets fixed, I'd like to update my password to a longer one again)

Google insists that this is the place where you find out wowhead maximum password length

Through painful trial and error I found out the truth. Wowhead accepts passwords with a maximum length of 52 characters (Printable 7-Bit ASCII and High ANSI)

If your password is longer, Wowhead simply ignores excess characters without giving you an error message.

I am using the KeePass.password manager.
