What bugs me is that its DPS is infierior to that of a cat or devlisaur..so i wouldnt bother spending 8 hours looking for it...

True, but we still need to see the damage capabilities of spirit strike after the patch, now that it doesnt clip.

to be honest though, i still believe out of all the exotics, devil is by far the best raiding pet.

It should increase the dps a fair amount but it still doesn't compaire well enough to Monstrous Bite like Shibby said.

What I would like to see is more variety in exotic pets in general. In the specific case of the Spirit Beast especially. I however would make more spawns but use a different model color than what Loque'nahak has, and in fact never use that model color for another tamable Spirit Beast so it retains it's rarity. At the same time Exotic hunters wouldn't have to camp for weeks just to be able to have a Spirit Beast. At the moment it's beyond retarded that the only Spirit Beast in the game is one spawn, on a long timer, that also happens to be hunted by every nooblar who wants a 10 point achievement that gets them nothing and a few useless blues...

Its been said that blizz is fixing the bug in the new patch about Spirit Beasts' special skill not working properly.

Why do that, when only a handful of dedicated hunters have the spirit beast in the first place?

If you're going to fix a bug, go so far as to add in a few more Spirit Beasts! Does Blizz want to keep them rare, or something? I would love the pet, for both its looks and its utility, but im not going to spend 8 hours a day looking for it.

Because if every Johnny Suck Lately had a Loque pet, it would no longer be considered "rare" and unique to the hunter class. I know, some deep thought required there.

If you don't want to put in the time to get it, then you don't deserve it. Sounds harsh, but not everything in WoW should be a Staples Easy Button because you don't want to put in the time to attain it.

I think you missed part of what he is saying. He wants there to be more Spirit Beasts over all. Not necessarily with the same skin as Loque or having him spawn more often.

Yes, that is what I want, not necessarily to get Loque'nahak's skin easily, but more-so a spirit beast, total. I do believe that a tamable rare spawn should be unique, and a sort of badge of honor for Hunters who have him (badge of farming?), but I would like to be able to gain some kind of spirit beast, with whatever skin, without having to invest major amounts of time that could be spent doing other things.

I tend to enjoy being able to test out how a pet works myself, rather than getting mixed up in all the technical jargon. So far it's been impossible to test out the Spirit Beast.

Also, on an unrelated, noobish note, what exactly does OP mean? I never exactly figured that out. It obviously refers to the Topic Creator (TC), but what is the wording involved?
