Combat Swords or Mutilate for PvE (You said heroics). If he MUST be sublety for PvE only go as far as Honor Among Thieves. *Points to Kicklucky's sticky*. Tell your "friend" to do some research.

I have already read the sticky but as it lacks a 51pt Subtlety Dagger build (which is what my "friend" is interested in) I disregarded it and came to post this topic.That would be because the Sub spec is horrid in PvE without abusing the bug in the HaT build.

just an FYI subtlety is in no way a good spec for PvE but if your heart is set on it check this out;

i personally tell you to spec basically anything but subtlety but if you must use that build with dual daggers

No, no one who wants your friend to do decent dps will tell you your builds are Ok. The HaT build is tolerable dps at its best. Shadow Dance is a pvp move. Period. Subtlety isn't a dps spec to begin with. He (or you) needs to learn this or settle for lackluster dps.

i am not one of the guys that takes things as they r.....that being said i tried every spec u can think of and came to the honest opinion that cookie cutter specs r indeed the best. Considering that i advise your friend to check kicklucky's thread and pick one of the specs listed there........that is if he really wants to perform better in raids and heroics, otherwise he should use whatever spec he wants and get his mind out of raiding and heroics. My 2 cents.
