Yet Another Spec Question

Hey guys,
I just dinged 80 and am now looking for a viable spec. After having read through a lot of stuff here, I decided to go with an Affliction spec. I'm gonna be doing Heroics, and 10 mans and so I put this together:
(54/12/4)
.
My question now is, first of all where should I put the remaning point,
Bane
or
Demonic Aegis
? What would give a bigger DPS boost.
Overall, where can I improve the spec, is the Felhunter a viable pet for heroics and 10-mans?
Also, the spell rotation that I plan on using would be:
Haunt
->
Unstable Affliction
-> CoA -> Corruption ->
Siphon Life
-> Refresh as necessary, Shadowbolts in between.
Any room for improvement there?
I greatly apreciate any constructive critisism.
Btw, this is me:
Level 80 Warlock

you say "yet another" so you know that all this information is on this board already.
putting demo into a PvE build means losing important stuff, if you're going to spec that way (with any points in demo) you have to max aegis otherwise all the other points are a complete waste. and bane is not optional. max it.
to do this you can drop nightfall, imp felhunter and dark pact and pick up imp DS with 2 points free to max both.
that said this build isn't cookie cutter and there's a good reason for that. it's not optimal. you should look at more common aff builds which go deeper into destro.
rotation:
SB > haunt > corruption > UA > immo > CoA > SiLi > filler and refresh.

But my concern was that Ruin wouldn't bring that much DPS to the table as Aegis would because, to take asakawa's suggested rotation (SB > haunt > corruption > UA > immo > CoA > SiLi > filler and refresh) the only Destro spell in there is Immolation. On the other hand Demonic Aegis ads Spellpower to
all
the spells in the rotation, plus it ads some survivability for 10-mans and occationally questing.
To clarify one thing: I may have overstated the Heroics and 10-mans, those will be a big part, but I also want some survivability. Because I leveled as a 35/41/0, to AoE DoT. That spec was also pretty good in Instances, I'm looking for a good balance between DPS and Survivability, cause when I'm dead, I obviosly can't do and damage at all.
Off topic: Is deep Demonology (Metamorphosis) only viable for PvP or does it have its PvE uses? Demonice Pact is a nice buff, but Totem of Wrath will overwrite it as far as I've read, correct?
EDIT: What glyphs should I use with deep Affliction?

couple of things:
your filler in an affliction rotation is SB, which will benefit from ruin (SB should be 30-40% of your damage)
demonic aegis doesn't do much for survivability, but it's about 60-80 extra sp
also, for heroics/10 mans, survivability isn't a big concern - once you get to a reasonable gear level, you'll be pushing 20k hp, which is plenty to take the random aoe damage that gets pushed your way (you'll probably have more hp than all the healers and other ranged), but even with as much hp as you can stack, you'll still get one-shotted if you pull agro and get smacked by bosses

Since I now got to try out my spec in action, I quickly noticed that it was not any good at all. first of all, recasting all dots is just too timeconsuming, to by the time I refreshed the last dot, the first one is already running out again. That said, It's very hard to apply this spec to 10 or 25 mans where you have to be able to move and still maintain reasonable DPS.
So I respecced to FG/Emeberstorm and I'm loving it. With my afflic spec, I was doing about 1k DPS if I could maintain my dots, now I'm doing 1.8k DPS on 25 mans while still being able to move around. My spell rotation is:
CoE/pet attack macro > Corr > Immo > Incinerate Spam till Corr/Immo runs out
Like I said, i was top 9 DPS in a 25 man raid whereas other Warlocks were just above the tank on the DPS chart. I remind you, I'm still in my Blues, haven't gotten a single epic yet. Here's my armory

Also: What would be the best spec for 2v2 arena? Is meta just too counterable by other locks?

I actually got my rotation down pretty good, I never refreshed dots prematurely, but cast em right after the last tick. But I have to disagree with you on mobility. I was actually more stationary while affliction because my eyes were on the DoTimers constantly to keep up the best possible rotation, while neglecting stuff like me standing in a huge flame that ticks for 15k. But, yeah at the moment I enjoy FG/Ember way more, so I'll stick with it for some time. At what stats do you suppose I should give Afflic another shot?
I do agree with you that my stats are far from being good, however, I am surprised how well I do in raids at the moment. I am ususally in the top 10 (25mans) or top 5 (10mans) while I myself was expecting me to be at the bottom of every chart. We did wipe on 25 man Vault when the Stone watcher had 15k health left (that's displayed as 0%). He enraged at about 3% and wiped us. After that fight I was as asking myself Since I've been using CoE, would it be better to use CoA? Because that would have been those 15k right there.
Also: What do you suppose would be good partners for 2v2 or 3v3 arenas?

Allright, I have 2 "engage macros" set up, one with CoE, one with CoA ^^
As for the Arena, would a clothy like a mage or a SP be better or a plate wearer like a Retadin, or a DK?
