well i have never seen an unholy tank but i guess if you can pull it off. I personally as Unholy dk pumpin out anywhere from 2k-2.1k avg and peaking at 2400 in 5 man heroics. I would do chains with a good AOE tank that can hold aggro. IT - PS - Pest - Blood boil - ACTIVATE DEATH RUNE- d&d. uber dps, but also if your tanking thats a good way to spread your aggro around so try that one out because all of those are aoe and you can activate them one after another no problem try it out i bet it will work great for you

For AoE, reaping isn't quite as good, but then again a lot of your AoE will come from blood runes and RP. For single-target, however (some trash, trash with CC, and most boss fights) you really want reaping.

Reaping also makes it a lot easier to get in at least one FU attack and still use Bone Shield, so you end up just replacing a BS instead of trading an SS for IT.
