Original post was way to long winded. More simply. I have gladiators shanker and shiv. What spec do I go with? I want to stay shadowstep if I can. Please post what points I should put in where or a link to a build so I can see excatly. After I replace some more immediate concerns I will go maces or swords if necessary. Thanks.
P.S. If I my gear/weapon combo would be waaaay better suited for a non Shs build post it and why and I will try it out. Thanks a million :)

Your profile tells me you do a fair bit of PVE, or that you were concentrating there to gear yourself up. Is your goal more PVE or PVP?
Combat Swords will max PVE DPS, but you can also go Combat Daggers and do some really respectable damage. Your Sub spec speaks of PVP but you need some talent revamps there if that's the case.
PVP, Focus on Hemo since you have it, dump Sinister Strike and the 2 points in Combat for it. Other rogues can correct me if I'm wrong but Hemo should be your primary attack.
Most rogues will push for Swords when using Hemo as Hemo is 110% of weapon damage, and Swords have the most weapon damage. You can still use Daggers, but this is worth mentioning. ;)
Max out Cheat Death. Max out Initiative. Setup seems useful but I've seen many rogues run without it, Elusiveness seems more worthwhile in PVP (less cooldown on your primary escape ability and your CC, Blind). Your daggers will let you Ambush so the points spent there aren't bad, and you should probably capitalize on that and focus on clothie-killing.
Yeah sorry I edited my original post. My rogue was my primary toon but I put it up and used my Hunter and Pally. I am sick to death of my Hunter hence the Rogue. It is solely a PvP toon. I raid on my pally, but as you can see I got into some 70 instances and Kara early on in TBC on the rogue. I just use the gear because it is the best I have atm. :). I feel that I am basically starting from scratch after not having played the rogue or read about them for so long. Been lots of changes. If you guys could link the builds you talk about instead of just saying 20/41/0 that would be great. Thanks again
Something like this works in some of your existing talents and streamlines others. Placing some emphasis on Ambush if you're staying daggers, to wipe out those mages, locks and priests.
Or, less emphasis on Ambush and a touch more survivability with other Sub talents.
perfect! Ty those are basically the mock up builds that I was thinking of switching too. I really appreciate the info :)
