If Anubisath takes too much damage from Stormlash (less than 500hp going into Whiskers) restart fight.

Aki the Chosen brings out Whiskers.

Pass (Whiskers will use Dive and is unattackable)

Deflection (blocks Dive damage)

From this point, cast Sandstorm any time it's available; use Deflection to block Dive damage; otherwise, use Crush until Whiskers is dead.

There is a lot of RNG in this fight with 2 pet carries, 1 or 2 restarts might be required, so If Anubisath dies restart fight.

What would improve this slightly would be a path for fastest route for alliance as well since the majority of time spent will be travel time, and some of the FP taken would be inefficient or impossible for alliance.

Personally, this is what I do for alliance:

1. Garrison daily
2. FP to Exile's rise then jump off cliff and glider to Ashlei.
3. Jump off hill and take FP from Embaari Village to Veil Terokk.
4. Vesharr, FP to Retribution Point.
5. Taralune, Garrison hearth.
6. Mole machine. Jump off cliff and glider, run to Cymre.
7. Razorbloom FP to Iron Siegeworks FP.
8. Feather over cliff, cancel aura, glider into Gargra.

At this point I log out and hop on alts to d menagerie daily, since the pet charms are BoA. This is a needed step since feather has a 15 min CD.

9. Feather off of hill near south-most point in Frostfire.
10. If you lunched with your feather in the right place, you can clear the Elemental Plateau and will almost make it to the Ring of Blood complex.
11. Run up to Tarr.
12 Hearth to shrine in Pandaria.

Next steps work for horde as well, since they do not take flight paths.

13. Fly to TPS.
14. Fly to Courageous Yon.
15. Fly to BPS.
16. Fly to Seeker Zusshi.
17. Hearth to shrine.
18. Fly to Aki the Chosen.
19. Fly to Wastewalker Shu or Farmer Nishi. (I do Shu because Nishi is in my 2nd route which picks up remaining trainers/spirits).

With the teams I use, I can clear all of this in 1 hour (1 set of treats) unless I fail a lot of fights due to RNG abilities.

I don't know if this is technically the fastest way, but it works for me, and is all I've had time to come up with so far.

A few pets are OP on many fights. Namely P/P Emerald Proto-whelp, P/S Nexus Whelpling and as you stated, Anubisath Idol. These 3 pets I use for many fights. The Nexus Whelpling completely dominates flying teams in seconds and lets you make up time lost due to increased fight length from Anubisath Idol.

On Stormlash I found that I had to use Deflection when his health was down to about 500 other wise he would always get Anubisath Idol's health down to about 350 which allowed Whiskers to do his surge enough times to win. Using deflection at that juncture it kept Anubisath Idol's health up about to about 900, giving enough time to win the battle.

Awesome guide by the way. It was this guide that started me actually leveling my battle pets.

Just out of curiosity why are you only fighting 2 of the Underbelly Rat's and not all four?

Thanks for the guide. Just wanted to say RNG can be a real pain. I've done the Taralune fight many times using the strat that you put in your guide and 99% of the time it works as planned. Today, I had to restart the fight 4 times due to bad RNG.

I also have not been able to win the Tarr the Terrible fight using your exact strategy. I restarted 5 times thinking it was bad rng and then gave up. I do, however, like your pet choice. I simply used curse of doom then shadow shock Deathly and Murkalot to death. The valk died after the killing blow on Murkalot and I was left with the restless shadeling to easily solo the last pet.

I want to thank everyone for the feedback and support. This guide will remain a work in progress as new variables I had not conceived of are brought to my attention. Please be patient as I iron out all the wrinkles. Check back in the next few weeks as I touch up some aspects mentioned by commenters here and on the battle.net forums. It's great to see so many people benefiting from my pet leveling collaboration . The draft for this guide has led me to @ 150 level 25 pets in the four weeks I've been working on it. I'd like for nothing more than to help all of you level your pets with as little effort as possible. It was guides like this that helped me get started on my pet leveling and I'm glad I could return the favor. If something in this guide is not working as scripted please let me know so I can make corrections where necessary. This guide can easily be summarized as, "Use the items that boost pet xp, and do as many of the pet tamer dailies as you can before they run out". These things seem pretty obvious to me, but maybe they aren't to a new pet battler. Many of the pet strategies presented are available elsewhere, and for some of them, there are much better options with easy to obtain pets. Here are a few things I'd suggest to make this a better guide:

Tighten up the introductory paragraphs so they are more to the point. For example, you mention the required items three different times, and the paragraph about the Beasts of Fable could probably be dropped entirely, since they don't give enough xp to be worth spending buff time on.

If you're going to include the wandering tamer, I'd recommend doing that first, and since you can pretty much always use the group finder to find someone with the wandering tamer, you can always include it as part of your routine. Note that as I write this, it's not worth doing the wandering tamer for xp, but that should be addressed in the next client patch (source).

An optimal path for visiting the tamers is perhaps the most valuable thing offered by this guide, but at least for the Draenor ones, I'm not convinced. I'll have to try it and see.

What's the rationale for using 2 carry pets in some battles? Sure, Ashlei is so trivial that you may as well, but since the xp is divided among all non-max level pets, I'd rather go with 2-pet strategies that are fast and work every time.

For Gargra, by far the best strategy I've found has been to use Warbot, which can almost solo the fight (it actually can solo it if you get lucky with crits, but you don't want that. Start off with Minefield, then cast Extra Plating, then spam Missile until it dies. At that point, swap in your carry pet, then immediately swap to pretty much any mechanical pet (I use a cogblade raptor) since you'll typically only need one attack to finish him off.

For those having the exact same battle pets than in the guide (in the same order with the same moveset and same breed) and using the addons Rematch AND tdBattlePetScript (with its Rematch dependency), I made some scripts for some bosses (not all of them yet but I'll update when I do). They have been tested by me and have worked very well so far. Let me know if you find situations in which the scripts stop working properly.
