Updated for Antorus (January 24, 2018)
Raid Instances
Antorus, the Burning Throne
General Tips:
Single target encounter with some movement.
Use all the movement abilities that Havoc has available to minimize downtime as much as possible.
Mythic Tips:
Nothing specific on Mythic beside everything hitting harder, so use defensives and movement abilities to stay alive and on target.
General Tips:
Mostly single target and some cleave at the beginning if you're raid is brave.
Mythic Tips:
Same as lower difficulties
Use movement abilities to get to new target when you switch
General Tips:
Don't hit bombs
Understand what to do in the pods if needed
Try to sync your
Eye Beam
with add spawning (watch your timers).
Position yourself in a way to maximize the amount of targets you hit with
Chaos Cleave
.
Bosses and Adds are demons which means 2 things, First you can use
on the adds everytime and focus your nemesis target (pref the caster) to gain the buff that will affect every adds afterwards doing this will also give you a higher chance to land the killing blow on the add granting
Shattered Souls
.
Mythic Tips:
Same as lower difficulties
General Tips:
Bribe your raid leader to stay on the main platform and avoir portals.
Use
Chaos Nova
and
Disrupt
to interrupt/stun adds - Using
Unleashed Power
is quite good on this boss
If in portals, cry a little and make sure you get as many interrupts as possible to maximize the fury gain
Adds are highest priority, kill them ASAP. - Killing blows on Demon adds will grant you
Shattered Souls
!
Mythic Tips:
Nothing different
General Tips:
Follow your group assignments (Take a bio break during the boss)
Mythic Tips:
Follow your assignments (don't AFK), focus on your job, even if it is to ST when their are AoE possibilities.
General Tips:
Use all your mobility to minimize downtime
Don't move more than you need to. Getting to the other side of the bridge alone in 2 seconds, doesn't mean you should, boss takes reduced damage until the cast is interrupted
Mythic Tips:
Bring some Skystep potion and volunteer to clear the second and 4th bridges using
Blur
+
Netherwalk
+
Skystep Potion
just rush forward and clear one half of the bridge to creath an empty path for the rest of your raid. Doing this will result in your guaranteed death but a quick battle res on you will save your raid group a whole lot of time crossing the bridge.
General Tips:
Don't use cooldowns on the pull
Save all cooldowns for the add phase
Pop everything on the adds
Mythic Tips:
Don't be that guy hitting orbs.
General Tips:
Unbind Fel Rush and VR
Mythic Tips:
If you get targetted with Necrotic don't move too quickly make sure you stay grouped up with everyone else
Don't pad on the boss, switch to the adds
General Tips:
melee btw haHAA :(
Play safe, esp during Storms, you can go from 100 to dead very quickly
Mythic Tips:
melee haHAA even more
General Tips:
Mostly pure ST for us
Mythic Tips:
Not much different from Heroic, just do everything better because stuff hurts
General Tips:
Aim to get the Crit/Mastery buff (
Strength of the Sky
)
Every adds in the transition will take increased damage from
Chaos Strike
and
Eye Beam
(beside Holy for eye beam only) so go for the add which will be the least targetted by your raid
Potions reset in P4 after you rez, make sure your 3 potions in
Mythic Tips:
Phase 1 and 2 are the same as on Heroic with more damage and Spread/Stack mechanic
Phase 3 will be pretty boring for you since you will most likely be assigned the orb duty, if this is the case try to gain as much Mastery from your gear as possible without sacrificing too much damage to increase your speed while dead, the Maw of Soul neck is esp strong there also.
