These are currently the highest DPS arrows in the game and are dropped by Sadow Hunter Bosh'gajin, who is found in Lower Black Rock Spire. The arrows drop in various quantities anywhere from 25-195.

Save these for your Demon quests or for high end bosses like Patchwerk.

This is a very large pain for anyone to consider farming consistantly. The damage might be noticable enough versus thorium headed arrows but I doubt they are worth the effort.

These would be saved for special occassions where every last drop of dps is needed.

Yes, he only drops a certain quantity unfortunately, and both times I picked them up were under 100 shots each.

At least they are almost always dropped. You go kill the hunter, and you're practically guaranteed some doomshot. I'd say 25 runs or so, and you've got yourself a full quiver. That should last you a week or so, but who would use doomshot on anything but a particularly important run, like Onyxia or Molten Core? Doomshot is definitely not the ammo you tote along for a night of farming or just to shoot a rabbit with.

It's kinda nice in PVP for non-Hunters which use ranged Weapons, too. You don't often get in a situation where shooting is useful but when it is, there should be max damage.

well im a warrior and my thorium headed ones are good enough with heart seeker to take out a ranaway but hunters deserve this its a good arrow all i need is sumthin to take out anything heading for help hunters deal the actual raged damage :)

First of all, I'm a hunter, but not that greedy type.

Anyway, those are cool arrows, but they are not for hunters, simply cause the amount of it is very little for a hunter.

I mean, if you're using Hurricane, those arrows won't last more than 5 mins, and then your char will yell "I'm our of ammo"...
I think if it happened and I was there when those drop, I'll pass and consider giving those to a warrior, they might need them "to pull harder" :P

I agree with the guy that said hunters should save it for fights with bigger instance bosses, like Raggy or in BWL. Only thing it damn hard to grind em. Then again me and my guild will go grinding for em! (cannonballs in my case, cuzz dwarves dont pick flower and dont use stringed sticks :P Core Marksmanrifle FTW)

its not about hunters or rogues or any1 else. ITs about how greedy that person behind char is. LAst nite we did BRS , warrior and rogues(2) rolled need for this with me (hunter) and 1 of the rogues take it. I wont argue for 100-200 arrows. Thats all. But no1 can say hunters wants everything and argues every loot if a nooby rogue rolls a bow with a hunter who needs that.

BTW no class bigger than other its all about the stuff on char and person behind char. A hunter can be 1st on damagemeter for an instance or a rogue or mage. Why all ppl tryin to sell the idea that their class better than others I dont understand. :/

I am a lvl 60 hunter... and i hate to see my pet die...

BTW those arrows should be given to a hunter...
why the h**l should a rogue need them...

it makes me lauge a lot, every time i come on thott to check a quest or an item the posts always break down to a class argument. and 9 times out of 10 it's about hunters. lol

i'm a lvl 54 hunter, and i'm not ashamed to say it. but you'l never find me arguing over a perty members role even if it is for an item you might say was "designed" for a hunter. if another member wants it they have just as much right to it as me.

as for these arrows, they are so hard to get in mass that i'l never role for them anyway what's the point unless you plan on doing LBRS 20 odd times to fill a quiver :S

But hay what do i know, i'm a dumb hunter :P

Alright everybody always argues about what class is best PvP. The answer? Nobody. Its all about what the person behind the player was going for. I mean if somebody followed the logical thought path of "rogue, assasin, 1 on one combat, PvP player" they wouldnt be wrong. If you have a well equipped level 60 rogue with somebody who really knows what theyr doing its hard to beat them. And yeah the hunter can kill them because like i said its a one on one character. Hunters are easy to use... so easy and thats why the vast majority are good. PLus the ability to do mass damage from afar and then not be completly F(*#'d when sum1 gets in close doesnt hurt either. Honestly i feel the most underrated PvP class is the shaman, when played correctly is the most versatile Pvp because theyr really on par with every class. Oh and i have a level 60 hunter and im gonnna be honest its boring. theres no danger to it, not like a rogue where its do or die all the time. But i will admit a rogue is a very hard class to be good in... not because it require skill its because their broken... the idea of a rogue is great but really their strengths are too easily overcome, their weakness's too easily exploited. Blizzard needs to fix the rogue. I just rambled for a while and ill leave you guys but before i go i just need to point out that in terms of value. These arrows are alot more valubal to a non hunter because they use alot less arrows therefor these will last longer and make more of a difference then on a hunter who shoots these arrows off in 10 minutes. these arrows could last a pvp rogue probably 2 weeks depending upon how many people make a desperate dash away at low health.

Okay so maybe some hunters are better than some rouges and maybe some rouges are batter than some hunters. It really depends on how good you are at playing your class. In a raid both classes would be screwed without each other because you need high dps and pets to tank as well as good ranged attacks. So quit arguing wether a rouge or a hunter is better. And by the way, hunters should always get frist pick on a ronged wep that is better than thier current so the same goes for ammo.

theese are the best arrows in the game and should be use wisely. Personally, im saving them to kill the demons u have to kill from the leaf u get in MC.
They dropped for me and there were about 160 of them.

Does any1 know if they have any special glow like the AV arrows?

Yes I used this on Solenor the hardest demon. He is in silithus and they dont give a glow or anything special just more DPS and I think this arrows gave me the victory because i barely killed him and now Im happy with my Epic bow/staff :)

This item (+20 dps, lvl 54+) is pointless now when the new Wicked arrow exists (+22 dps, lvl 55+). The only time it makes sense is when you are exactly lvl 54, so you can use it, and still too low lvl for the Wicked arrow... Oh, that's nice...

While some say more drop, I only got 119 arrows on the drop I won. So it seems to be very random as to how many drop each time.

like the frost arrow thingys you get from av do these glow a purple (crosses fingers) and could 2 druids a rogue and a hunter solo this boss?

Not for hunters imo, better give it to warriors for pulling.
20dps on these in stead of 17.5dps on thorium arrows is about 10-15 damage for one shot.
Get a slow (3.00 or slower) bow/crossbow as a warrior when you pull with this ammo you will not lose aggro, trust me.

between 1-200 arrows drop its really random i know that but wich bos or bosses do these drop from i want to get them on my 54 hunter just dinged so i can use them :)

Projectiles doesn't add damage, nor they have speed, they add damage per second. So this thing increases in your DPS by 20.

BTW great arrows, but hard to get :(

The drop is between 150-200,

You can kill this troll with 2 good equiped roques and a druid, stealted runs..
( me and my mate on teamspeak to sap 2 at the same time pwnage )

i got myself 1200 arrows in 60 mins.. ( and some other crapy drops what i win with rolling )
