This is an excellent ring for a rogue. Even though it's not epic, it rates as well as epic rings you would get from MC. This ring is almost on par with a Quick Strike Ring. What makes this ring nice is the hit rating. Even with the 2.01 patch, + hit gear is important for a rogue. This ring is a good one if you are unable to get the ring from turning in Nefarian's head or from Brood of Nozdormu rep. I coupled this ring with the Seal of the Gurubashi Berserker. Seventy attack power, 22 stamina and an increase in hit make that ring combo a good one for a rogue.

if you do melee/ranged dmg in raids, that's who this is for. Not pallies/shammies.

Personally I'd wait and get the Seal/Band of Jin rings from ZG for their +30AP set bonus. Though from my own experience the damned Tiger never drops the Seal -_-

Please understand that peole will play this game the way they choose unless someone is paying their bill for them. If you can equip it then you can use it reguardless of class.

That being said. Shaman is a hybrid class. Check blizzards website. Personally I have not looked in a while but Blizzard had shamans listed under hybrid class.

A hybrid class fills in the gaps. If you don't have a mage, shamans can do spell damage. If the Warrior goes down, a shaman can malee, priest goes down a shaman can heal.

So why get all worked up about it.

A shaman can use this ring.

I guess what they are trying to ask, which is overlooked is: Does this ring drop in AQ20 or AQ40?
Moam, AQ20.
Its funny how all you guys get into a big roast about comparison and contrasts of item...this is a freaking strategy guide! If you know something about this ring or how it is obtained, say so...this is rediculous.

This is a fantastic ring for hunters as well. They are lookin for much the same attributes as warriors and rogues.

I'm a fury warrior, this would be better for arms warriors than fury...most fury talents rely on crit, arms uses slower weapons, and needs to make sure every swing hits, and hits hard. I also agree that hunters and rogues would greatly benefit from this. If a fury warrior doesn't have 2 +crit rings by AQ20, he doesn't know how to equip himself and should go back to Blackrock till he does.

Fury Warriors are designed to Dual Wield, it was made very clear after their talent shuffle a while back. Dual weilding has an inherent 19% chance to miss added to the standard 5%, for 24% base miss chance on normal attacks, and the normal 5% miss on specials. Now, since a good fury DW warrior will be doing around 45% of his damage in 'white damage', and that white damage is the main source of rage gain, it is important to keep a steady influx of rage to power your special abilities. That said, I build my Fury DW Warrior around +hit much moreso than +crit. The same goes for rogues, because if you miss, you don't do anything.

Any DPS class should get at least 5% hit, spells or physical, to be able to relatively consistently hit raid bosses and mobs that are 61 and 62. For the level 63's, you will need considerably higher. DW'ers should add a further 19% onto their target, meaning their +hit reliance is massive.

My DW Warrior's rings are Blackstone and Ogre King at the moment. I will replace Ogre King with Don Julio's once I get exalted with AV. I use Lionheart Helm and Titanic Leggings for their +hit predominantly, though the strength and crit are not to be forgotten. And yes, I top damage meters. Consistently. Not bad for an Alt.

This ring could really go either way. I'm wearing it on my hunter along with Signet of the Unseen Path. I rolled against a few warriors on it who already had the ZG Berzerker ring. I felt a little bad at first taking it over one of our tanks, but that really fell away once I started rocking out.

For a non-epic ring, this added HUGE dps for me. I already had a lot of +crit and +ap but it just wasn't getting to the target in raids. The 61++ mobs were causing me to miss.

Hit is HUGE for raiding hunters. You can have all the crit in the world, but it is meaningless if you miss your target.

I'd have to say though that this ring would best be used by melee classes first. Tanks and Rogues can definitely use the +Hit, but if they're epic'd out, then by all means hunters should get a crack at it. I did - and I'm happy I got mine.

Hunters/rouges, if you don't mind losing 9 stamina (I didn't), get tarnished elven ring from DM north tribute run. 15 agility, 1 % chance to hit, and you don't even have to use DKP for it.

Other than that, equal priority between warriors/rouges/hunters.

My guild can kill Ragnaros, Hakkar, and kill chromaggus to get up to nefarian in blackwing lair, but moam still gives us a bit of trouble, it took us a couple of trys, but how you do it is, as soon as the fight starts, you have to immeadietly start draining his mana, because when he gets full mana he will do a big arcane explosion which does ~3000 damage and pretty much wipe your raid, and at about 45% of his health, he will some 3 giant voidwalker looking things, i cant remember the name, but as soon as they get out, banish them! and keep them banished, and warlocks have voidwalker out aggro it so you can banish it again, and if one is loose and a warlock died, let an off-tank tank it for the fight, other than that is just pretty straightfoward, oh i forgot to add, when he summons the 3 voidwalkers at ~45%, he goes into a stoneform, that means he will not attack at all anymore! so healers dont worry about healing anymore, go max dps, innervate a mage or something. and for anybody who hasn't raided before, if your anything of a good guild, whoever wants this rolls on it, if your not gonna wear it you dont roll, no "omg im a warrior/rogue this is mine!" i am a druid and i got this no more comments on non class specific items unless you actually understand how common 20 man instance looting goes, you usually aren't awarded DKP, and you /roll for items, simple.

I personally as a rogue would not go for this ring.

If you can't get the seal and band of Jin. Do a little pvp and get Don Julio's band, easy to get now with tokens and honor pts. Then run ZG and get a Seal of the Gurubashi Berserker, it drops off all the priests, I've seen it twice in one ZG run. These 2 rings are pretty easy to get and give great stats.

These two give you
+24 sta
+10 to hit
+14 crit chance
+56 AP

little bit of a disappointment really, individually its better than band of jin, though if you have the major mojo infusion it doesn't hope to stand up to it, while also losing out to band of accuria and don julios on a one to one basis. ah well.

Well, i would hope its not as good as Epic rings, or a 2 Ring Blue set.

On its own this ring is fine, considering how supposedly easy AQ20 is.

From a point of view of a sword rogue, this ring looks almost identical to Painweaver, better only by 2 stamina and a few AP. (I take 1 crit for 25AP, and 1 to hit as half of that)
