not a paladin weapon?

if you raid, the damage doesnt mean a thing.

play style goes from player to player. With seal of the crusader, in PvP, this this would just wail away, and provide good stats to boot.

not a paladin weapon? you should reroll a different class, you haven't got a clue.

It has higher healing than HOTGC, and it's got damage as well. It's the fastest 2hander since Brain Hacker. Definitely more of a SoR/SotC and Rockbiter item, rather than most 2hand maces which are better with SoC/Windfury. I'd probably give druid priority though, since weapon damage doesn't matter for them.

I'm saying that the damage is too low for a paladin to use in pvp, and that on a raid since damage doesn't matter a paladins should have a 1 handed weapon and a shield to boost armor. True, you would be able to hit a good amount of times with this but there would be no damage to any of the strikes. There is alson the fact that wielding this in pvp with Seal of the crusader would make your moves too predictable, allowing horde druids and shamans to predict when they should and shouldn't heal.

And just to drill this in, I can't think of any situation in which a raiding paladin would want a 2 handed weapon instead of a shield.

I'd like to confirm that this is off Kormok. We had it drop tonight and ended up sharding it, as we didn't have a Druid or a Shaman with enough points in Enhancement to use it. And yes, Kormok is a pain to kill.

First, if you want this mace, you need to find someone who's working on their tier 0.5 set, who's got their pants, shoulders and boots. After they finish the Lords of Flame quests, they have a random chance of getting this quest. After doing a bit more collecting, they'll be sent to Scholo to Ras Frostwhisper's room, to summon Kormok.

The fight itself is really rough. Kormok summons adds. A lot of them. Constantly. Every attempt my group had at attempting to control the adds ended in a wipe. We wiped about 5 times before giving up for that run. I found another group later in the day and gave it a second try. This time, I took a Shadow Priest, Fury Warrior, Rogue, and Demonologist Warlock, along with myself (Elemental Restoration Shaman). The way we beat him was to put all 5 people on the boss, doing the highest possible instant cast or DOT DPS as fast as they could. No one on healing, no one on tanking. Kormok doesn't have a lot of HP, but the adds are brutal, so the plan was to have him die as fast as we could get him to die. It worked, but we wiped (which was part of the plan, to be honest). After the wipe, ankh'd up, and rezzed everyone else, and we could loot just fine.

Hardest 5 man single boss I've ever had to face.

I have to say that this may be for druids the best, well, not ones who shapeshift, there are probably better ones for those who prefer feral.

Why? Well, there's at least one common complaint for paladins and shamans.

"Not enough damage."

Not many of the comments here considered that this is more of a healing/spellcasting wep since it has a +healing/damage and +intellect combination, paladins/shamans comments are all talking about melee damage. So I think spellcasting/healing druids may have priority on this unless they have a 1h+off-hand combination or another 2h that's better than this. This is still good for shamans as the +healing/damage benefits their spellcasting, unless you prefer to melee, then it isn't according to lots of the comments here. I wouldn't imagine this being used for solo combat a lot.

I am holy pally + 13 in ret and I would love to have this weapon, both for healing and grinding.
It's not as good healing weapon as hammer of the grand crusader but it's still a good healing weapon. I don't mind the low dmg on the cause the speed is nice so it's still the same dps. I use seal of rightoeusness judgement and holy shock a lot when I grind so the spell dmg will boost a lot of dmg. But I still think it's more of a druid weapon.
Btw anyone know where this drop, I would love to know.

This could possibly be the best pre-raid weapon for a prot pally with reckoning after patch 2.0. You get an 8 sec buff that gives you double swings. Add improved SotC and SoR and +spelldmg (which are a must anyway if you are trying to tank) and you'll be doing some damage :)

Hafta agree with you there. I was keeping an eye out for the Blade of Hannah as it has a 2.1 speed with a 62DPS. But with +30 spell damage, this thing would Rock

And it just dropped for me off Kormok in RFs room...

Why is it so fast?
It is clearly a paladin weapon then why is it so fast! I dont wanted! Why the hell I need such a fast weapon with my SoC? This is ridicilous. For once they make a paladin weapon and it is Megafast for a paladin!
