7.2.5 PTR Build 24076 Data Highlights - New Legendary Rings and Chromie Scenario Armor

The latest 7.2.5 PTR build is on the way. We'll be posting anything interesting we find over the course of the afternoon! There are many class changes, including Vengeance Demon Hunter, and lots of Tier 19 and Tier 20 set bonus changes.\r
Looks like each class will get a new legendary ring in 7.2.5. Some of them were added this build. These appear to give you the effect of a certain talent and are not complete.

7.2 PTR - Build 23780 Marked As Release Candidate

For our second 7.2 PTR build of the week, we've datamined a handful of legendary and spell updates. More importantly, build 23780 is marked as a release candidate, which means the 7.2 PTR is pretty polished and could go live soon! Several days ago the background download for Patch 7.2 also appeared on the Battle.net launcher.\r
7.2 PTR Legendary Item Changes and Development Notes - 14 March

In Patch 7.2, underperforming legendaries will receive bonus stats or additional throughput effects to make them more appealing to players. Today, Blizzard has provided the full list of legendary changes coming in the March 14th 7.2 PTR Build. These changes include the addition of 1.5-2% baseline throughput to underperforming legendaries.\r
As an example of a legendary which received improvements, here's
. It now grants 10% movement speed and 3% haste, 70% movement speed and 25% haste when triggered, and the movement speed bonus now stacks with other bonuses.

7.2 PTR Development Notes for Build 23657 and Mythic Testing

Blizzard has posted the overview of what's coming in the next 7.2 PTR build. It seems to be a relatively small build focused around bug testing and tweaks, without new types of content or quests to try out. Over the next week, all Tomb of Sargeras bosses except for Kil'jaeden will be tested on Mythic difficulty as well.\r
There are some wording changes to Relinquished tokens coming in this build; namely they will no longer say they have a chance to grant a legendary, but they will still have a small chance to grant one. In these notes, we also learned a bit more about the gearing system on Broken Isles - the Relinquished tokens won't just have a small chance to reward a legendary, they'll also have a chance to reward good dungeon, raid, or PvP gear too.
Blizzard Posts Feb 23rd: Slot-Specific Legendary Targeting, World Boss Testing, PvP Updates

Following the Developer Q&A, Blizzard answered some questions on legendary clarifications, opened up testing on World Bosses, and announced that some PvP changes for 7.2 would be reverted. The "identify legendary" items like
Coffer of Twin Faiths
were scrapped and described as an "experimental concept" in light of the new announcement that droprates and bad luck protection will be calculated by spec, not by class, in 7.2. Blizzard also posted that you can target legendaries for a gear slot in 7.2!

Our round of Blizzard posts for February 17th includes information on an upcoming Developer Q&A, clarifications on legendary drop rate changes in recent patches, and some PTR clarifications. The biggest takeaway from the legendary post was that the chance to get a legendary does not decrease after your third one - acquiring the third one is at the same chance as acquiring your seventh one, for example.
