A "9.0 PvP Power" spell has been added in Shadowlands Alpha build 34714 which increases you primary stat by an amount equal to your PvP Power.What I take from this. Is that PvP gear will have less primary stat than pve gear of the same item level. But in pvp and open world, this pvp power will then act as the missing primary stat. Essentially making both the pvp and pve items equal in pvp and open world. Where as in dungeons and Raids, pvp power would be turn off.If done in this way it would allow for pve gear to still be the best for pve instances. And allow the return of pvp vendors and the easier obtainability of pvp gear. So that pvpers can gear up quickly and be on equal footing to one another. All without affecting raiding progression.

Specialized PvP gear will be greatest thing in case of it will be useless in PvE.
While they're at it, I hope they make sure not to hide must-have PvE stuff behind PvP.

As someone with dynamic free-time schedule, I would really appreciate PvP-only oriented gear. Even if I spend the same time ingame as Mythic raiders do, I just can't beat them power wise, because they can (unlike me) get that mythic gear. And yes, I understand that mythic raiding is considered as the peak of endgame progression and should be rewarded better than other content. On the other hand this expansion made it almost mandatory.At this point PvP (speaking of arenas) and PvE are mechanically wise completely different worlds and should be treated as such. It's almost like getting better hands in poker, because you're kinda good tetris player.
I'm primarily a PvE person but do PvP every now and then, always did. And not having resilience on my armor did not stop me. In fact, doing PvP made me want to grind for the gear and even make a character dedicated to PvP. I don't know why so many people here are complaining about "PvP players not wanting to play the game like ~the rest of the players~" when ALL of you complained about the Conflict and Strife essence that required PvE people to do PvP despite not liking it or wanting to. Some people prefer PvP, others PvE, some like a mix of the two.

I'd love for PvP power to come back, I just don't want it to be a full set. A few pieces of gear would be okay, I don't want to grind for weeks just to feel like I'm ready to PvP finally.
For me, the ideal would be to be able to get the same items doing both pve and pvp content, exactly the same, including raid trinkets. Obviously the loot of greater difficulty, could only be obtained once or twice a week, so that we can equip ourselves at the same rate.The best way to complement this would be to balance the Damage and the life, of the players, from the pvp perspective and then implement the life and damage of the mobs. In this way you avoid having to reduce the% of critical damage and a few more statistics for pvp, and we avoid implementing objects with resilience, pvp power, etc.With this system, an item that is too good compared to the rest, is nerfed for everyone equally and nobody messes with the hidden statistics of pve or pvp.Everyone wins, nobody has an advantage over anyone, except their personal ability and the time played.Excuse my English, it's not my native language
oh god please no, no pvp power no resilience. It has been a pain from bc to Wod. Forcing to have pvp gear to be able to play pvp casually....
