Wait... guys... I have a plan. Let's fire some devs... AND THEN HIRE SOME DEVS!
"now that we've fired the experienced devs making high salaries commiserate with their years of experience, we'll be replacing them with green industry newbies willing to accept peanuts to work in the gaming industry"the good ol acti-blizz cycle.
How does ""in the coming months" confirm a June 1 release? What did they exactly say... Coming months in my eyes isnt next month.
Fire the ones that got raises over the years, and hire new meat to pay minimum wage. LULW Classic
72% y/y for CoD Holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Alright, alright, we all hate Acti-Blizz for firing those thousands of people over the last 2/3 years. And I'm not about to try and change your mind about it, because it is really awful. But I'm gonna play the Devil's advocate here and remind people that the vast majority of firings were non-developpers. People in marketing and Q&A. So while they probably will hire these devs with incredibly low salaries (as they're known to), they're not "replacing experienced personel with rookies".
Guess we're not really gonna get any relevant numbers for wow until Q3 since Shadowlands launch will carry Q1 and Q2 will be carried by TBC launch.
it will never cease to amaze me that King's candy crush continues to add even more users to its player base and I can totally understand why everyone is pivoting to mobile in some degree
