Meh just not super exciting. Plus racials will prob all change in beta
Definitely happy with the stat squish. Highly prefer the smaller numbers.
Every is hyped for moose druids, and justifiably so. But I feel like no one as addressed what this means. Horde is getting a third druid race. The number of druid races is going to be uneven for the factions. (before anyone says anything, I'm not complaining about favoritism. I'm diehard horde.) This has always been a rule set in stone. Both sides had ONE druid race. Then in Cata, they each got a second, and there it stayed. Now though, Horde is going to have a third. Lightforged Draenei and Darkirons obviously won't have druid, and if Void Elves, which are spun off from High Elves, have druids, I will eat my hat. So that means the alliance won't get a new druid and it'll be uneven. This is very unusual. (And actually, there could be made a case that because the Zandalari have Dinomancers, there could be a fourth Druid race for the Horde.)I'm actually very interested to see what classes the new races will have. They need to make sense in context for these groups places in the universe. Obviously none of them have Death Knights because none of them were around for that. Te Highmountain don't have priests or pallies because they aren't members of the Sunwalkers. It looks like they've chosen to give each race 5 classes. Two of those are going to be hunter and warrior, of course. Rogue seems probable for the four other races (they just happened to pick the two races that can't rogue because of hooves. XD) So that leaves three others for these guys (and two for the other four), and that's the interesting part. For the Highmountain, that seems to be a problem because they'd only have four classes that would make sense, so they had to give them monks. The Zandalari would seem to have the opposite problem. They have TOO MANY classes that would make sense. Mages seem likely. Priests are a possibility, as are monks. A case could even be made for druids. The Darkspear only recently got druids, but the Gurubashi, the Amani, and the Drakkari have been channeling their loa and taking on animal forms throughout the game's life. And the Zandalari have their dinomancers who turn into dinosaurs, so boom, there you go.Now I've kind of rambled for a while, but I'm a giant nerd, so I'm going to shut up now.
With the Waste Not, Want Not talent, a Highmountain Tauren would make a great farming toon!
pvp focused expac..... at freakin last. i know other expacs like mop had a good run with pvp but not like this. BfA is something else entirely.
new tmog sets woooo
I hope they bring down the stat scaling a bit, the difference between a leveling character and a fully geared character in Legion is a bit too high. And I hope they fix the leveling gear, no repeats of 840 gear on lv. 101 characters, it should scale down to be good but not god tier.
bull rush PogChamp mooonkin rush time
I'm pleased with the stat squish, if they go through with it. Already having 1000 item level be a thing feels so foreign to me.Honestly, I think the biggest thing I am hyped for right now is when they said that there would be more "Allied Races" in the future. Yes! Give us like 20 subraces! I will eat them up like cheerios.
Well, I'll be race changing a few toons, lol. Lightforged Draenei are cool, but they are drastically different. They promised more to come, so hopefully Wildhammer Dwarves, Tonka, Vrykul, High Elves, brown and gray orcs, and more!
Any word on if we are getting more char slots so we can make them?
I run a Draenei guild so I am very excited to see Lightforged Draenei available for the Alliance! For the Naaru!
Not only a stat squish but a item level squish. Nice now we won't be in the 1000s for item level. Gonna be interesting to see how this will affect old world content like the previous squish.
soooo anxious about this, look at that void 'wings'!
Oh I really want a Nightborne hunter so I can look like Sylvanas.
i remember when legion annoucement said they wanted to do a stat squish. Ppl went crazy xD And now every1 is like, yeah a stat squish will be good.I remember back when 50k was ALOT. xD
Stat squish is definitely a good thing. The numbers were once again getting quite insane. Remember WotLK? Well geared tanks these days have more health than the Lich King did on 10 man normal.
I'm curious if Void Elves can be Druids? A void kitteh form would be a sight to see!
I wonder if the new sub-races will stick with the same classes or will there be different combinations?
16k hp but a stat squish? Meh, not thrilled about that at all....
