People keep pretending that the problem with Covenants is just a balance issue which it also seems to be STILL despite only two weeks from launch of an already delayed game. But the real issue with being locked to one covenant to me is much greater than balancing. Most of us here have played classes that haven't been performing all that well and we still had a lot of fun with those, a lot of the times we even got accepted into PUGs after being well known for being a decent player. So the real issue is how different covenants are for different specs in terms of synergy or just fun really.Based on how I heal with my Resto shaman spec I really need that Necrolord covenant ability, it's like it was made based on my style of healing specifically and I love it. But it's complete crap for Enhancement and Elemental, and this is not something that can be fixed even if they buff it to a point where it deals 3 times the damage of all the other covenants it just doesn't synergy well with those specs at best it's a button to press on CD and at worse it's a incredibly disruptive ability. Now Blizzard has made it very clear that they are ready to die on this hill, at least for the first patch of the game. So now is the time to level another character of that class you just love playing more than one spec because they won't revert this for at least 6-8 months.
God, Kyrian is such a boring covenant. I'm going to hate this so much.
So basicly hunters have no choice in any spec.. Sorry to see that, because I really like the aestaethic of the Venthyr and Night Fae..
Blizzard:Night Fae is a place for Hunters and Druids.WoWhead:Kyrian is a place for Hunters...So, in a sake of best numbers hunters have to play for a next 2 years in a place that was not designed for them...
I'm still going for Venthyr no matter what
Well , for Demonology Warlock the recommended Covenant kinda suck because they are not shared across m+ and raid. As long as the recommended Covenants dont change for Warlocks looks like the classic Aff/Destro Warlock dominance will continue to exist and Demonology will still be a niche.
These are just assumptions based on long series of more assumptions based on tuning that changes frequently. These kind of guides have always been bad for the community and make work for guide writers. Stop them.
This could be easy handle turning off Raider.io addon and site down...
Is there also such a guide for PVP content?
