Finally. This lag is insane. How about fixing outdoor world server lag as well?
It's lagging even worse now?
No lag tonight at all in heroic, normal, or LFR. Buuuuuut, now we experienced invisible arrows in phase 1.5, which lead to people dying from the dot, and platforms being invisible in p3, leading to members standing in the pools on the ground and not noticing. 1 inch forward, 5 feet back. /sigh
I never had this issue, ever. Is this in mythic only? Because any normal or heroic attempt or kill i made never lagged once, maybe because there aren't many mechanics in normal and hc?
So what's the reason for world lag? World boss has too many complex mechanics also?
Most people will complain and say Blizzard can't fix their broken game. But honestly, even if it can't can't immediately fixed, I really like getting a break down in what the situation is and how they're tackling it. The open communication is very welcomed.
My guildies will be extremely happy if that lag gets truly resolved!

2 weeks ago, 9 hours of Mythic Sylvanas "prog," quoting this because we couldn't make any in which we'd all just die randomly due to going into intermission 1 and just having 5-6 seconds of straight lag and then "popping" back into the game lag free, but dead. I can tell you right now this fight made my raiding experience less enjoyable and I'm not looking forward to another new raid from Blizzard. I stayed for how well the raids were, but I guess that's gone too.
If only there was a place where these things could be tested.
we found the cause – there are a higher-than-usual number of calculations being done at the start Also re: world boss maybe...just maybe.....all the extra systems ? conduits, soul binds, legendary, and now with this patch the multiple effects of shards, all these "higher-than-usual number of calculations" are actually of your own making, you designed them, what did you actually expect would happen in the end ? you design these systems but quite clearly have no forethought at all. easy fix STOP making things ten times more complicated than what they ever need to be. back in the day before all these borrowed power multiplicative systems stacked upon systems, when we only had Tier sets we never had issues this bad, its been getting worse every expansion and patch since start of legion. 7 years ago running 3 x 40 man raids into Stormwind or Org was great no issues, these days have 10 players standing too close to each other there are issues Clearly if the servers and hardware you use are the same or better than previous years then the obvious culprit of these types of issues are just badly designed and coded content development and implementation.
