Right now I can't tell the RMT advertisers and the not RMT advertisers apart in trade chat, so just banning them all is fine by me. After all, as stated you made that account to do just that - how can Blizzard tell you apart and RMT, ya both pretty much say the same damn thing.
I understand disliking selling services and screw them indeed, but common people, are you really defending Blizzard's inconsistency? It is not like it only applies to this case nor like it is the first time, far from it.
On one hand boosts are a good thing since there are too many people who are bad/don't care enough about the game to bother/don't have the time to do mythics+, pvp, raids etc.. in a normal way on the other side let's not BS each other that this guy wasn't going to sell his gold eventually for real money... Why else would he keep it on another account otherwise? I had friends who did boosts for gold and once they reached a certain amount they would sell the whole account with the gold. Pretty sure that almost all boosters do this, so yeah... I'd say probably 95% of the boosters end up selling their gold.
Good
Those People are a Plague in every Video Game , they Exploit the Weak Lazy Players by Boosting them and Spamming the Chat 24/7 with their Garbage , glad those individuals are getting what they Deserve !
I'm glad for the rule change, but they really should have issued a warning first before banning the account.
I'm no fan of boosters - for gold or money, I don't think it should be part of the game. I hate whenever I look for groups there's always a WTS advertisement somewhere. Yeah, I do report them - but this will be a problem for as long as wow is online IMO. However, as much as I do dislike boosting, this person apparently had followed all rules and being caught out by an unannounced rule isn't great. Though it could be argued he was already treading on thin ice given the fact Blizzard bans for money-based boosting anyway. It's a tricky one, but the ban should probably be lifted with the promise they won't continue to do it.
