We're always looking for ways to improve Heroes of the Storm, and this year we've been hard at work on a number of changes designed to improve gameplay at all skill levels. We showed these changes to professional players and key community members earlier this year, and now we're opening them up to the public through an extended testing period on the PTR, beginning on November 20. Let us know what you think!
We are slightly increasing the in-game field of view to help improve team fight clarity and overall visibility.
In order to properly balance Stealth for both casual and high-end play, we're making it easier to spot stealthed Heroes. This is accompanied by buffs to the Stealth Heroes.
To better showcase individual skill in lane matchups, we're exploring ways to make the laning phase more meaningful without increasing overall game length.
To create more impactful choices about how, when, and which Mercenary Camps to capture, we are making changes to various Mercenaries.
It's about to get easier than ever to coordinate plays with your allies, because we're integrating Blizzard Voice directly into the Heroes of the Storm client! Voice chat in Heroes will be available in the months to come.
We're further increasing the accuracy of our matchmaking system by taking your individual performance and contributions into account after each match, rather than relying solely on victory or defeat.
More details coming soon!
Maybe play HOTS again?
The most crafted items was a neat stat...other than the D.Va announcer, I wasn't overly surprised at the top items, they all looked pretty amazing!
These updates sure took their time to arrive, well better late than never.
voice chat in a moba? what could go wrong?
Blonde Hanzo looks funny, but doesn't seem like it's Hanzo to me.
Looks like it's time to pick up HOTS again!
Might actually sit down and play some HoTS now.
I like the idea that stealth champions have a bit better clarity for enemies, as well as the new heroes coming in.
Alexstrasza's gameplay seems so cool ! And her dragon's form <3
The heroes look 'thicker' because that's how the designs work, they are all relatively bulkier, it's not just Alex. See the other heroes like Uther etc, all relatively larger so it looks more comfortable for players since we are viewing them from bird view wise.I don't see the issues adding some clothes on Alex as well, I would find it a little odd if she was completely bikini-uniform despite being a dragon. You don't just run around in battle half naked after all.
the first time I played it I was really bored but I might give it another shot some time
Alexstrasza look sexy :O
Dark Queen and Farstrider skins look awesome!
Was watching the cinematics with my brother, he just signed for Overwatch haha
Hanzo looks cool, maybe i should start to play HotS again.
Dragons + HotS = winning combo!
What's with Alexstrasza's legs?
They look amazing! How can someone not love dragons?
Blood Elf Hanzo is gonna make me play this game.
