a new team is working on the project, lets just hope it turns out great
Are they going to screw this one too? asking for a friend.
after reforged?pff
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. I don't mind and even look forward to the remaster, but it sucks that they're touching the original game. I wonder if the old chats and whatnot will still work.
I spent waaaaaaaaaaaay too many hours playing D2 back in the day. XDIIRC, I leveled each class all the way through completing Hell difficulty. Definitely a great game for its time.I hope that—like with D1 through D3 (D4 not known yet)—this will also run on Mac.
Honestly I expected to be most excited about TBC, but I'm surprised that I'm actually looking forward more to this than TBC classic. I really hope they don't F this up, because this is a game that everyone needs in their life. It's amazing and also you can play it hardcore daily or log every few months and you won't feel like it's pointless to play because you are far behind others. It's just the perfect game.
The trailer looks fantastic. Hopefully it remains a game and doesn't become some overly-monetized Activision trashbag. I get wanting to be wary, but this clearly actually looks good. Warcraft III Reforged looked horrible from the first time it was shown until release, so the only surprise was that the alpha game was what we ended up with.I'm certainly not pre-ordering this, but the Starcraft Remaster is amazing, I imagine this will be too. I'm actually very surprised this ended up getting made though; I remember a few years ago(?) reading about how they actually wouldn't be able to do a remaster because there were huge chunks of the project lost over time. This will be a nice alternative to MedianXL though. Playing at a smooth framerate will easily make this my preferred version to play if it holds up.
No balance, no mechanics update, just a reskin. I was expecting more.
Does someone know how they want to solve the stash management? If it is like it was in the original, it would be a 100% reason not to buy it. I wouldnt even think about it.First you had to buy another copy of Diablo to log in multiple times. Second you had to create multiple accounts and either had to use a second personal computer or illegally alter a certain file to be able to start Diablo multiple times.40 Bucks would be way too much for this hassle. If it would be WoW, its basically like you would just have a 20 slots bank and mail transfer wouldnt work. They really should implement an accountwide "mega stash" with e.g. something like 200 to 500 slots. Otherwise I wont buy it for sure.
