Dang, and I read this expecting to hear about sushi
people talk about how easy gold is to make...now u have a way to spend it. also they prolly gonna increase the ways to get bonus seals.
Sweet, feel bad for twice the cost!At least they're not dangling that carrot as frequently.
Just more time gating. Very sad. All they care about now is reporting how much "time played" from MAU. Heaven forbid they actually, ya know, care if it's fun.
Forcing personal loot when we should have the option, as a guild, to use ML (cause we actually understand that we don't "deserve" loot when we're a team of 20 people). And now this? Sounds like Blizz wants to kill PvE gearing from raids lol.
Well, I don't really like this change. Not one bit.
Tack on another stupid idea Blizz is making to turn BFA into a terrible expansion...geez it isn't even launched yet and its already shaping up to be crap, at least WoD made it to launch before being crap. The MoP iteration of the bonus rolls was by far the best to me, you didn't always have a great chance at bonus loot, but the cost was tied into a second currency that you earned from just doing your normal activities. In WoD Blizz was like...uhh yeah we are just going to go back to Gold for everything since its what everyone earns and uses. Obviously, they revised that statement by letting you pay in HP, Resources (Garrison+Order), and Apexis Crystals. I hated both the Legion and WoD iterations and this one sucks even more. Legion by far was the worst in bonus returns. I guess Blizz feels if you get a tiny bit of gold+power if a roll fails that it makes the higher cost worth it, nope. If the cost is being doubled, then I would like to see the chance at loot doubled and gold pay out doubled as well.It seems Blizz is more interested in pushing players back to Classic servers than to play BFA. Whoever is project manager for this expansion should so be fired, the whole concept of the expansion was gimped to begin with but after seeing crap change after crap change I am almost to the point of getting a refund and waiting till the next expansion...what a shame, I was looking forward to fresh and new ideas and approaches, Blizz is certainly failing hardcore.
What? You mean to tell me you're actually a decent guild member that understands gearing people up evenly and equally to progress faster can only be achieved through ML? NONSENSE! PURGE THIS HERETIC!--Ion Hazzikostas 2018Seriously though I can't agree more with what you said. PvE is the lifeblood of this game at this point and they want to kill it for whatever reason.
I honestly don't understand why they did this
blizz should get rid of these bonus roll #$%^. back in pandaria it was implemented for to increase the chance to get loot, nowadays with myth+ and warforged/titanforged I think it doesn't really fit anymore.I would like to see that you can bonusroll on gear that dropps for you to have a chance that this piece get tertiary, socket or (higher) warforged/titanforged.
You guys are all quite terrible. PL is never a bad looting system. It's literally the same loot chance as ML / GL / and any other looting system. #$%^, they even gave you the option to TRADE your damn items to other people. The only difference is you cannot trade tier sets to people and you cannot trade ilvl upgrades to people whereas you could trade tokens to others with ML. Since they got rid of tier sets, that doesn't matter anymore since no tier bonuses just means no reason to do ML over PL. PL they gave you a cap of 2-3 items over the other looting systems to make up for the beginning of not being able to trade the items at all. Now you can, so no reason to argue. The only difference this makes now is that for progression the first week or so, nobody's going to be trading loot. Outside of that, though, when people begin to gear up and have their gear it'll be the same as going with ML, just without 5 hours of loot distribution and rolling against BOTH RNG to get the item you want to DROP from the boss and then rolling against players themselves to receive it. As for the bonus rolls, yeah it slows down the game but so what? Are you guys that $%^&in' spoiled that you need to gear up in a month of raiding? Just to be done and not have a reason to do the raid anymore outside of achievements or being required to show up for raid? Going back to the looting thing with PL, to those who have kept saying "I don't get anything" well that's your luck. I get 1+ items per week off of PL, and I get to DE them all since my toon's already geared and requires titanforged for anything to be an upgrade, but they're nice chaos crystals. Either way, for every 2-3 failure stories of bad RNG with PL, there's a success story like my own with it. It's the same for ML and GL and I forget the other types of looting systems out there. Once you get some gear you'll be able to trade all the loot that isn't an ilvl upgrade so it'll be the same as ML then. You can either choose to give it to someone of your own choice or you can do like ML and have people roll for it so it's fair, but either way it's up to you.
Never really liked the seals anyways felt like it cheapens loot that you should be excited to see. and besides most of the time it was just a double shot of disappointment lol. i mean if you think its to expensive don't get it 7k is a week of mission board stuff i do mindlessly from the app anyways.*back in my day it was 2 pieces of gear for a 10 and 5 for a 25 anyways so its a munch better time to be playing.
Looks like the team has become more Activision than Blizzard
drop rates better be a damn sight higher to make up for losing a bloody roll chance. ridiculous decision, completely arbitrary. price increase also absurd.
I don't quite understand how re-rolling gear 2 times instead of 3 for a lil bit more gold is that big of a deal for anyone who plays the game more than 10 minutes a day. There's a 5 million gold mount in the game and people are freaking out over 5k ;P.
"Reward for No GearAs a consolation prize for not receiving gear, players will receive 300 Artifact Power for using the Bonus Roll."...Shouldn't it be Azerite?
Is Bliz still doing the whole 'Bad Luck Protection' for players? Because I don't relish the thought of going months without getting a new weapon. Bonus Rolls kinda helped but man, this nerf hurts. I don't understand this change :-(
