Devil's advocate:I always seem to agree with the people who criticize Blizzard for being lazy or for being sell-outs to "the casual players" yet at the same time don't want to bum someone out and be a buzz kill by down playing the awesomeness of World of Warcraft. BUTPersonal Opinion: **// Blizzard, or Activision even, makes like, oh a Billion+ dollars a year from subscription sales alone. This is not including the primary purchase of the game (and expansions) and lame crap like collectible beer mugs and what-have-you from the BlizzStore that people actually buy. \\**So, correct me if I'm wrong (the actual numbers aren't really what matters, mainly the idea of a really freakin huge number) but with enough money to fuel like 15% of African counties, can't Blizzard just make s**t work! Seriously, I'm pretty sure they can afford an army of lower-to-mediumly paid average, average-wealth computer and art nerds to design a game that not only surpasses any game in existence as it does, but to make it better with every single patch. Every passing day should be a step towards a secondary existence that hasn't even been reached in most literary sagas. On an assumed wealth basis alone, there should rarely ever be a QQ on a WoW forum. Thoughts?
nah won't ever happen i'm afraid we mages don't have any other source of income then water and food services with transportation on the go :P

I was disappointed that Blizzard decided to remove The Path of the Titans, and guild talents, but it seems like they've done a fair job in replacing them with similar things. The re-done cities are what I'm looking forward to the most, well that and goblins/worgen too.
Ugh, lovely. Now, with my little social guild, as we level up, instead of getting to choose things that will be beneficial to US, we get stuff with some crappy raiding perks we won't even have a chance to use. And PoT gone? I've supported every decision Blizzard have ever made but not anymore. This is ridiculous.
I was excited for every single bit of information... 'til i read this...
major bummer...some of the stuff removed is what I was looking forward the most. I guess I just have to focus on the other stuff to drop more money on this expansion pack.
I'm not sure if I want glyphs to be permanent or not. On the one hand, it would make more specs less of a "I want this feature" for all classes, thinking especially of my druid, since respeccing wouldn't require finding glyphs to replace, just the 50G fee, which is chump change at this point. On the other hand though, the glyph market will probably be turned right on its head. I'm not sure I have a good feel for how many of my sales are to players respeccing, but it seems reasonable to assume that sales volume will go down relative to the number of active characters, and the market prices will go up, since the glyphs will be more valuable, and survive even being replaced. In general, I'm disappointed at losing the titan path system. It was always given as a counter-example to complaints that removing certain stats from gear was making everything too simple. I know, they're making these medium glyphs, which will probably be fun to figure out and use, but I really wish they could have wrapped it into this cool titan system.
Looks great.
Any idea if you'll be able to race change to a new race from your 80 character immediately? I see there are new heirlooms and that goblin and worgen will be able to use them immediately, not sure what that says to answer my question, but it seems like something. My apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere.
