Horde has the same number of Druids, and Alliance has more Paladins to the more Shamans.
However, Horde has more Shamans than Alliance has Paladins, which is the source of the one race/class combo difference. To look at it another way: Out of the 91 possible race/class combinations, Horde has 50.55% of them, and Alliance has 49.45% of them. Looks fairly balanced to me.

It's too bad that the Worgen cannot be paladins. I was really looking forward to that possibility; I think they'd look pretty cool with all that armor too.
I can't fathom anyone complaining about having extra choices. Lore wise I don't think it's a big deal either; when you create a character you're not the average for your race as it is, and moreover there's always an exception to every rule in fact characters breaking free of their racial norms is pretty much a mainstay of the fantasy genre. The only think that doesn't jive with me is that worgen are basically humans that have been infected with the worgen curse, so I think they should share classes with humans. I would also say that in just about every roleplaying system ever created humans are like the norm with not a lot of bonuses and not a lot of flaws, and traditionally they can make any available class. I'm kind of amazed that humans, and orcs as their horde counterpart, haven't just been given a racial of "jack of all trades" allowing them to make any class they want. Just my two cents.P.S. I'm loving my troll druid mon.
If you haven't played any WC games besides WOW, you really shouldn't comment on what should/shouldn't be.
i find it no fair that all Horde have something new....even BE....what about Draenei!
