Speaking as someone who has levelled so many alts (at least one of each character on two accounts), to take advantage of the legion madness... I *hate* the slow progress of levelling alts (in retail). In classic, I don't actually *care* about levelling too many alts right now. Why? Because I'm actually invested in my main character. Sure I want a tank and a healer, but I am having an actual blast getting my main up to 60. Everything matters. Nothing is going to just be wiped out by a new piece of gear, or in a few months.Sure, I miss my engi's and their lootarangs. But hey, I'm crafting bombs and scopes that give me something useful and potentially life-saving. I have to weight almost all decisions. I'm not just mindlessly plowing through everything. That said, coming back and doing old quests I CAN mindlessly plow through things. They don't magically scale to my level. In summation, go home retail, you're drunk. Also, if you try to replicate legion again (second-best xpac after wrath, aside from the *stupid* amount of rng), good luck with that :) Honestly, not sarcastically. As others have said, everyone wants the game to succeed. You're just so far off of the path that your game from 15 years ago might actually kill the current game, which says it all.
